I would have to say go with the egos, any of them are great guns!

This would likely be considered a vs threads by the mod, and it will be shut down. But out of the guns you've listed I'd go with the ego 7, many people consider that marker the first in the line of "new generation" ego's, and very few can speak a bad word about it.

Personally ive had problems buying used in the past but sometimes you get very good used guns. Like the guy above said go with an 07 ego little to no problems.

the only markre I bought brand new was one of my first spyders.
there's no reason to spend exorbitant amounts of money fora brand new marker when you can find nearly the same thing for hundreds less.

I'd stay away from the 05 but the 06 is amazing. It was the first Ego I've ever played with.

05 and 06 egos are basically the same.^^
some people like buying new, if that is you, then buy new.
I don't have a problem with buying used, and that's what I do.

Please don't make threads asking "what gun should I buy?" We call these "vs." threads because generally people ask about one gun vs another one. Everyone has their own personal preference and often these threads turn into flame wars because people take these kinds of decisions very seriously. Start by checking out the reviews on the guns you are interested in that are within your price range.

If there are no reviews out yet because the item has not been released or has not caught on, give it time. Once other users have them in their hands, we'll start getting feedback here on the site. If you want to be the first person to own one, then you are taking a risk no matter what it is. Badgering the manufacturer is not allowed and it won't give you the unbiased answers you crave anyway. They are after all trying to get you to buy something.

If you still want people's opinions about how one marker stacks up against another, post in the Endall Best Marker Sticky and ask.

However, the best way to choose your next gun is to try it out. Paintball guns are totally personal preference. Shoot everything you are considering, buy what you like the most. If no one local has what you want, then there's a good chance no one local can fix it if something goes wrong.

Please take a minute to check out the newbie forum rules.

As for new vs used, it's a judgment call. You'll get much more bang for your buck buying used, but if you buy new you get the warranty and a brand new marker with no defects or wear and tear. I always buy new when I have the money, but most of my guns have been used. It will give you experience doing your own tech work because you'll usually have to fix basic problems with used guns.
