Not necessarily, you can have all the knowledge in the world and still suck *** at paintball. I don't like Dynasty, I'd still probably go to a clinic of theirs though as they rape at paintball.

not to be a dick here but
1. learning from your local teams, seeing how the practice, play and drill can teach you/someone different techniques
2. pro clinics aren't a cheap get together, there large groups, loud and expensive
3. some people (me) probably wont play anywhere out side of the MW area
4. you wouldn't be learning to play like them, you would add to your already floating knowledge and playing ability and tweak it a bit. there for giving you upper hand knowledge when you play these teams,
So say your team is the A team and bowrestlers team is B team and my team is the C team, and i watch your team and pic up some techniques and moves that i didn't know, and then watch the B team's practice and drills and pic up some more as well, while practicing with your team you could teach them the stuff your guys are practicing, so going into the game having past knowledge of how you play and where you play my team could know and anticipate your moves and skills. giving us a upper hand
Now say you go to a pro clinic and some pro team is there. group of 50 people all doing the same moves and all learning from the way "the pro team" does it and they would try to correct your mistakes that might not be mistakes to you but to them the way they play doesn't really help you much at all. so you get a group of 50 people playing the same way as this pro team's players and having to re-learn there entire playing style while at this camp, guarantee some people and probably most people wont like the way they want you to play a technique and push it away to the point they forget how to do it the "proper" way and not there on way. giving the individual a section of what they were there to learn to bring back to the way they play. probably only about 20% of what they learned they will put into effect and practice/games. after spending X amount of money on something you could have gone with out to only learn a percentage of what was to be taught to you. thus making a pro camp only a fundraiser to a team and not to teach you how to adapt to skills and techniques that pro teams use.
