So I guess that answers the question of how it works w/ the 03 Vikes.

Not that there was any concern.

That would require perfect timing.

declue is BST Trusted
declue has achieved Level 3 in PbNation Pursuit
being that NPPL HB is somewhat near the time that the boards are coming out, will any be available at that event?

What happen when an upgrade is available?
Will we have a data cable to do it, or will it be necessary to send the chip somewhere?

For my Shocker board, I dropped it in the mail on a Monday along with a couple bucks to cover shipping. I had it back on Friday. They're also doing the Shocker update free if you can make it to an NPPL event - I don't know if they'll do the same with Viking updates, but I imagine the process will be similar

Yeah it'll be a bit tougher for you to send it in.

This is why i think they'd find a way to allow everyone to update them with a data cable

Sorry; a data cable is extremely unlikely at this point. I'd give it about a 5% chance.

And why there's no datacable?
What is the reason?

Why would the average user need a data cable if you can adjust all of your setting via the trigger?

Most people don't update their boards unless they send it to a tech.

everything can be changed via the trigger so a cable isn't necessary...
