PlayBoyz - Just wondering how you got ahold of the telephone poles? If you don't mind me asking, how much did that run you? Luckily, we've been able to get by with some 4x6 poles but it's always in the back of my mind that the wind will just mangle the poles and nets.

Thanks!

I actually bought 26' trees there were at least 6" at the top and at least 10" in diameter at the bottom. They are in the ground between 5' - 7'

finding the telephone poles was not a easy task. if the poles are purchased new, they are very pricey, around $250 a piece, and we needed 30 plus poles!! OUCH!!!! however, we made a bunch of phone calls to electric companies, and private contractors to find them for much cheaper (bartered for a bunch of free playtime!) so, try giving that a shot, if the electric or phone companies cant sell them to you, they might be able to point you in the right direction.

here's a pic of one section of 4 x 4's that actually survived. (that section was 12' high and we get major bounce over problems) you can also see one of our telephone poles, and the height of netting we used there is 17'.

telephone poles

Talk to your local power company they are usally willing to give away the poles that they take out of the ground when they do pole change outs. Mine I got 10 of them for free and had to pay a $1 per foot for the other ones a tota expense of $120 for all of them.

Arrow Reply to Paintball Netting

If your looking for indoor netting you may have to buy fire retardant paintball netting. www.paintballnetting.com has the only netting that will pass. They also do great regular paintball netting, bulk paintballs, fields, etc etc. Worth checking out.
