Alright guys, well as of now I see 13 people that are in attendance. I will try to bring another 2 or 3 so this seems like it will be a pretty good turnout. And as far as it goes on the $55.. I used to think that was rediculous now.. but if you wanna talk about the economy, you have to support it. That means taking the hit and spending the extra ten or 15 to play at the nice field, which has a lot heavier overhead than most of the fields in this area. Sure, there are some bunkers that need fixing, o well. The referees do a very good job at making sure that they are taken care of.. and sure the entry to other places may be $40 or $45 but you have to consider it's a $10 to $15 difference and the gas that may be included if you live in the Toledo area. Don't make this place lose business because you can't survive the week without eating out once or 2 footlongs

. Anyways, I will try to get who I can out to play this Sunday. Everybody work their friends and let's get a big turnout!

I believe there are many more than the 13 you're thinking of since some of those who had voted "Yes" are speaking on behalf of the teams as a whole. So if you figure that most of these people that had said they will attend will we bringing a 5-man team the numbers quickly jump to that rivaling most local tournaments.

For instance, Death and Taxes voted "Yes" for attending and we will be bringing at least 4-5 members to practice.

So could we get a list together of teams, partial teams, and freelance? With a little organization and preplanning we could run this like a legit team practice. Maybe make a freelance team or rotate them in on existing teams. Whatever keeps the games fun and competitive. I'm guessing there is more and I'm not sure if anyone is together but from posts it looks like

Peewee is on my team, so we have 3 coming, so we'll need 2 other people to be with us for the day, I assume that will be Ionbrother and Japy since I already talked with them.

I'm down for playing with whoever. I don't mind who I play with or against. Used to playing with pickup teams

Hoping this turnout is as good or better then its looking now. Gonna be a hell of a weekend for some ball thats for sure..

Update on our numbers, we sit at 5 with a 6th possibly attending. Based on what people are posting this should be a good week to get some practice in.

Be courteous and respectful to each other and to the new players out there and these practices could grow quite large and more frequent.

Play hard, have fun, and see you on the field!
