I Have had a tiberius t8 before but sold it.I dont have any experience with the tippman pistol personally in the field.I loved the T8 and need another side arm for my sniper loadout so I need some input of pros and cons of each marker to help in my decision from peaple who have had or have both.

TPX:
-Smaller grip is easier to hold and aim
-12g stays in the gun and is not pierced until trigger is pulled first time. So if you don't use it...you don't wast a 12g or risk one slowly leaking.
-Mags are smaller and WAY lighter...so you can carry more much more easliy.
-Can be made FSR
-A million and one barrel options
-Option to use a remote that is attached to the gun...not a mag.

Those were my reasons for picking a TPX.

i'd definitely go with the tpx
the air cartridge usage is more efficient and very easy remote line connection can be made

I prefer the t8.1. I think the co2 in the mag is a better design overall. Every time you reload it's fresh air, so you don't have to worry about running out on your 3rd/4th mag. You can also get a remote air adapter if you wanted too, but with co2 in the mag you shouldn't need one.

I also prefer the looks of the t8.1 better, already come FSR capable, and fits 8 rounds instead of 7.
