Best "old time gun"

what gun is the best from around 5-10 years ago? im kinda looking to buy a tinker gun and i wana know what u think the best is.

well 5 years ago id have to say either a timmy ,or an impulse.

as for 10 years ago it would have to be an automag , or a cocker

not at all ive got a sweet one sitting in front of me.

since im a scenario player , i have an electro for my main. i also have a mech for my bad weather/back up gun.

that is actually what i have. yes its extremely good. i will never trade mine , even though i may trade my electro 100 more times.

actually that model mag has done 36bps (full cycles). it did has 3000 psi input.

I'm kinda surprised the RM wasn't mentioned yet.

If your looking for something to tinker with look into the older cockers. the ones you had to drill to put the eyes in. one of the old shoe box shocker with the soleoid timing issues and general maintance. impulses are pretty reliable but there is still a pretty large following for them so parts are pretty easy to get. and you can never go wrong with a mag. because you will forever be trying to quiet that tiny air leak up in an old mag

Classic spyders, cockers and mags are the ultimate tinker guns from 10 years ago, because they're not rare so you don't have to worry about defiling something collectible. You could do a pneu-mag or pump-mag, pump Spyder or Spimmy, or just monkey with tuning a cocker, make a Spocker, or do a pneumatic-assist or MQ'ed Sniper.
