I bought this Ion ebay in a package deal. I was told it did not work and I thought I could fix it; however, when I opened it up I was a bit surprised. If anyone can tell me what parts these are and if that is the complete bolt.

When gassed up, it turns on, but only makes a *puffing* noise when I pull the trigger.

Any help appreciated.

That's a very nice Lucky setup with a stock Ion board
There are several different Lucky bolt setups like the one you have,not sure which revision you have
Hit up Dethwish or Ydna for more info,they're the Lucky guys with the most info

And near impossible to find...
Check your battery voltage,operating pressure should be around 160-180 and dwell settings around 20.If there isn't anything major damaged this should at least get it to cycle

Ah so you're the one that won that lot, congratulations you got some awesome stuff. That should be a complete Lucky bolt, one of the last revisions if memory serves. The settings Punisher gave should get you up and cycling provided you don't have any leaks/oring issues. Give those settings a shot with a fresh battery and let us know how she runs.

Not a stock board ape rampage

Thanks for the help guys. I started trading board around last night, but was halted when my only known operating board is stuck in an ion with rusty screws and I don't have the right screw driver :0.

I did trade it out with another board of mine (not sure if it works), but it did not even give me the puff noise when I pulled the trigger (chirps when pulled though).

A quick google this morning (because someone mentioned that I should set the dwell at 20), showed that the stock dwell is 34. Is it possible that if the board in it is stock that this could be my issue?

After more research. Is there not another piece needed for the bolt? There are literally only these 3 pieces. I looked at the l7 bolts because it looked similar and it looks like there was supposed to be something that went inside the can. As it is right now, it is just empty space inside.

Only suggested running the dwell lower as the bolt SHOULD be significantly lower weight than the stock or most tailed bolts.Try a higher setting or OP if it won't even puff or partially cycle

The center piece is just a tube. Looking at lv7 bolts, they have a little cap that I guess goes on the end of it to seal? I own a shocker nxt, so I was kinda think that there would be a shaft that went through the middle of the can and connected to the bolt, like the bolt guide in the nxt.

On the L7 kits, those are there to stop the air from draining out the back of the gun. Doesn't sound like you have that problem.

It's a Savant bolt kit from the team that split from lucky. I purchased a lucky body years ago and they sent me one as well. Much nicer than the stock bolt that Lucky supplied.

I just looked at it last night and found the other piece I was looking for. Its the cap that is on the end of the bolt tip. Still haven't had a chance to swap bolts and lower dwell.

I bid on that lot as well, I'm glad that didnt have a lucky board in it or I'd be extremely jealous.
