Product Thread:Project BR1 Bullpup

BR1 BULLPUP PROJECT

The BR1 Bullpup Project was started with the goal of creating the world’s first bullpup paintball marker. The basic concept of the bullpup design was first introduced in 1957, by having the action of the weapon located behind the trigger, designers are able to decrease the overall length and weight of a rifle while retaining the same barrel length. The result of this design is a rifle that is lighter and more compact without sacrificing.

Just out of curiosity...I was looking at your website and saw the Bullpup-E....doesn't making the marker that long defeat the compactness of a Bullpup?

Since the sport of Paintball is driven by and welcomes both innovation and choice via preference, we felt it was best to leave "No Stone Unturned" when it came to showing players the options that are available to best suit their needs and wants dependent on their preference in platform configuration.

Additionally the Bullpup platform while popular in compact formats such as the P90 and L85;actually permits a shorter firearm length for the same barrel length in a non Bullpup design for improved maneuverability, and a reduction in weight.

This allows you to run a longer body or marker if that is your preference, while still staying compact

Understandably...choices are always awesome. How does the BR1-E compare to the length of the TGR63E?

Will there be any improvement on the iron sights placement height? They look cool but as anyone who has shouldered a paintball gun that has a stock on it knows, the mask prevents any use of the iron sights without risers. I would like to see gun come stock with risers built in and or adjustable risers to accomodate the variety in face/mask sizes.

It looks like types B-E include a riser.

I think it would be awesome if it was compatible with G36 rails. It looks similar but I don't know how close the marker is to the G36.

I love the looks of these bullpup guns. What kind of release date would we be looking at though, 2015, or closer to 2051?

I had some pretty crazy VM68 Designs in my mind when I finally took one apart.
