I doubt they will come out with an eye system this early. Maybe if they start selling well, then they will probably sell a cheap eye system as to not upset the sales of the ion.

Yea. Why start selling eyes and new boards? Then it'll just be another ion.

This gun is not targeted towards people who play serious speedball or tourney ball. This is a entry level gun. Like a electronic spyder or tippman with a e grip.

For most new players have no idea what force fed loaders are. Nor do they care. They just want a cheap gun that shoots good (in there eyes). This fits that bill pretty well. Be a gun you could beat on in the woods and not worry about it. Most new guys I meet expect to break paint. When I tell them I'm pissed if I break one ball per case they think I am crazy.

If you are more serious into paintball then you may start looking into an ion, epiphany or eos...or my personal favorite the shocker.

I would never play speedball with this thing, imo it's just a really light, smooth spyder/tippmann. I'm buying one of these in replacement of my A-5, just for the occasional scenario/woodsball game.

and no im not paying an extra $10 for a single trigger and a heavier body

I didn't realize paintball can only be played with a 15+bps gun. Somebody better go into the pump forum and tell all those guys they don't know what they're doing.

Thank you...most of these guys have obviously forgot when they first started. I would go a little further as to say its probably targeted at the parents just as much as the player. Thats who is buying the majority of the entry level markers anyway. I would say that most of you have lost perspective, but most of you didnt have one to begin with.

Everyone from this post on should start by listing their first marker...mine was a good ole 98 Custom and I thought it was the sh!#.

Did you even read what I was replying to? Nice try at being e-cool anyways.

And for the record, I started with some 40$ BE of some sort, and I still rock it once in a while.

My first markers were Brass Eagle Jaguar and a Rapide Splatmaster. When I upgraded to a VM68, I thought I was in the high cotton!!!

I got to take one apart in my local shop. the board/noid setup looks just like the old imp cricket board. its big and long. the reg is just a cheaper version of whats already on the ion. it has like a little "chamber" in it to let the co2 boil into gas. sp is just aiming to the people who play paintball once in a while. most people cant shoot over 11 in semi anyways, nor would any new people really need ramping or something of the like. it seems like a great deal for the run of the muck woodsballer. but for only 70 more bucks you can have an ion xe? im actually thinking about grabbing one though, just cause it can run co2 and comp air and i play pump mostly so, it would do what i want it to. but...i like the idea of eyes....allot.

well, just smaller and less parts than the original. i mean, its capped out at 11 so, its not like shootdown is going to be a major prob, unless your shooting raw co2. it does what it needs to, and thats all that matters. its a solid little gun, and id rather shoot it than a spyder or tippy...but im not sure im entirely for the gun, in my setup. i think its a good idea and it will fill the place of an exellent entry marker. just out of curiousity, how fast does the average player walk a trigger? i wouldn't think much more that 8-10bps, so why is it such a big deal that there is a capped board? there going to make better ones no doubt.
