Just finished The Fed which was interesting, but nothing earth shattering. It put a lot on the table.
I think while I'm still on break I'm going to re-read The Pendragon Series I remember reading it when I was younger and enjoyed it, time to see if it's like I remember.
Edit: Cool tidbit the main character of this series goes to Stony Brook JH, and I go to Stony Brook Uni. IDK I thought it was a cool coincidence. wait "Stony Brook was a little town in Connecticut" not the same.

Digitard, I read Scalzi's blog also and on his recommendation I picked up a few books by Christopher Moore. Reading " Lamb" the Gospel according to Biff Christ's Childhood Pal . Good light satire about jesus and biff starting at age ten.

"Good Strategy Bad Strategy" by Richard Rumelt. It's encouraging to see real thinkers in the field. Too many posers in the business world and this helps expose them.

"Pulphead" by John Jeremiah Sullivan. An excellent collection of essays. Writing style is very similar to that of David foster Wallace.

"Darth Plagieus" the spelling is off, but I don't have the book next to me. It's about Emperor Palpatine's master, and so far, outstanding.

Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut
Amazing book with a graying theme of morality, and a sub-theme of, "We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be."
Classic Vonnegut.

Feed by Mira Grant. First book in the Newsflesh trilogy. The premise is appealing because I love zombies and am a journalist by trade. Worth a read if you're into sci-fi/horror.

One of the few books I started and never got through. I have read the first half several times but it always lost my interest.
