Anyone else experiencing ridiculous mental retardation from Arsenal fans trash-talking Liverpool after losing the last Carling Cup game? It's not happening in here, thankfully, but I never looked at the Carling Cup for being one of those "omg srs stuff" tournaments.

Well it's so big team's reserve squad such as Arsenal, Chelsea, United,.... get some playing time as well.

Why? It's an opportunity for bigger Premier League teams to play their youngsters, or players who otherwise wouldn't see much time, in a fairly competitive atmosphere in front of a big crowd.

Plus the smaller teams have a shot at playing in Europe if they win.

true...i don't mind it. I think when a lower team beats a big squads reserves i hate how its blown out of proportion
