I bought a ProMaster from Connor. We agreed on a price and I paid him. He shipped the marker from his location (IN - USA) to my location (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada). I have to confess, after 2+ weeks of not seeing hide or tail of the package I was starting to get on Connor's back. He was cool about it and assured me that he did infact ship the ProMaster and that he didn't scam me. He seemed honest enough so I went along with it. A week later he contacted me saying that the package was returned to him. Obviously he questioned me as to why I returned it. I informed him that I did no such thing and even though he was skeptical (rightly so I must add) he agreed to ship the ProMaster for a second time. This time the marker arrived.
When I first opened the box I noticed that the gauge was cracked. After looking it over it was probably due to the 3-4 weeks it was in transit. Mail delivery people can be so damned hard on packages. As a result, I don't hold Connor responsible for the gauge being cracked - its simply the price one has to pay when dealing with the post office. Once I screwed an air bottle on to the ProMaster, I immediately noticed an air leak from inside the grip frame. It was obvious that it was the solenoid leaking and the marker wouldn't fire (cycle). I tweaked the LPR a touch and the leak went away. As a result the marker began to function. I figure Connor is a pretty honest guy and came to the conclusion that the LPR just got dry from sitting around or something. In any case, I took the marker outside and dropped my Halo B on it. I unload 500 rounds through the PM without a single chopped or broken ball and it ran as smoothly as a new.
Cosmetically, it is pretty close to how Connor advertised it. The bolt has a little more wear and tear on it than I initially expected to see but its nothing that can't deal with.
Bottom line, Connor is a good seller. I would buy from him again without any hesitation. This guy sent this ProMaster TWICE because customs returned it to him. Connor certainly went out of his way to make sure I got the marker I paid for.
Thanks Connor! Two thumbs up...
