P90X won't cure that, it will just make you pissed you wasted 90 days. Read the FAQs, google a question before you post it, and enjoy your stay

Got heel hooked, it compacted my left knee so hard that I have a femur bruise.

Well anything can be beneficial to me considering my current condition (smoker, college student, sit on *** all day) so I figured I would give it a shot and hopefully see some positive results in my future (physical/mental)

Find a good routine and start hitting the gym at your school.

Tony Horton is a pain in the *** and P90X will almost definitely not yield the results you're looking for - all I've seen it effectively do is disenchant people and trim off a few lbs of fat in a somewhat unproductive fashion.

I started lifting when I was 26. I benched the bar. I still don't bench much more than that lol. I'm working on it though.

Smith Press 80 3x10+2
Squat 190 10,11,12
RDL 100 3x10
DB Shrug 60sx10,70sx8,80sx6
db curl 30s 8,2x10
seated calf raise 30 3x20
Pushups 20,17,10

still going strong. I like the variety of this split, and it feels good to get stronger in a new rep range.

I know that feel, bro.
'twas me last year. I could hardly rep 95lbs on a flat bench, was shoulder pressing like 25lb DBs. Go there, don't be a dick, grind it out, work hard, and you'll be respected by the regulars in no time. Then ff 1 year and you'll be looking sick yourself. Like I said, p90x seems to disenchant more than it seems to help.

Push ups are some of the best exercises you can do.
Try timing your push-ups and hitting 100. Towards the end you completely struggle to do more than 5-6 consecutively. It is actually kind of fun once you start really pushing yourself (no pun) to keep getting to 100 faster and faster. I've done it a few times and so far I'm at 5:43.

Uhh well I think eventually I want to be able to do 30-40 pushups in a row maybe, so 100 won't be so bad. I started doing them to work on my MMC for my upper body, and to strengthen/stabilize my shoulder girdle.

Biceps - Alt DB curl, started at the 45s, got 6, then 3. 3x15 for tha burn on dem biceps, felt gooddd.

Forearms - Hammer curls, started with the 35s, got 6, then 3. 3x10 behind the back bb curl, first two sets were 55lbs, last one was just the bar

Calf Raise Machine - 215, 3x10. time to move up to 235 i do believe

abzzzz

set a PR for everything except abs and calves, got dam that was a good ****in day in the gym

ONE THING THO. when i was doing bb behind the back wrist curls(palms up) i heard/felt my left shoulder crack and pop, got some slight pain, but it wasnt for long. feels ok right now, kinda scared me a bit tho not gonna lie

Did 200 push ups as a warm up then did a hybrid DC training/P90x/IIFYM/Sheiko at the gym today. My muscles feel pretty shocked.

Squatting doesn't hurt your knees. Half-squatting does. Box squatting in particular is pretty damn easy on your knees.

Eh, pushups are a good way to get a lot of volume in. Do 100 of them every day for a month and there will be definite results.
