Normally I'm just a fly on the wall in here and listen to all the banter. While enjoying some downtime at work today, I was reading on Propaintball.com:

" Jeff Stein, owner of the New England Hurricanes is rumored to be turning over the reigns to the team."

I know the canes forum has been get quiet as of late, but I was chalking that up to a combination of the offseason mixed with holidays. I'm not expecting a direct yes or no confirmation, but was curious as to future of the Canes. It's hard to imagine what NE paintball would be like without Jeff floating around

I to am curious as to the validity of these rumors. Jeff has been a big part of paintball in the northeast. Hopefully it is just a break. The grind can be tiresome.

Interesting yes... but all rumors at the moment. ProPB isn't exactly the most reliable, and Jeff has been very quiet lately to confirm/deny

It is true that there will be some change in leadership and/or managment but the details are still being worked out, including who will run the team going forward and what my role with the team will be.

They should just move it to Paintball Talk and rename it "Time with Stein"

Good idea^ it will probably be moved to former pro teams though. I'm wondering if the canes will be playing nppl instead of psp although I think it is pretty clear that Jeff favors the psp. I'm just thinking about the recent loses and the fact that the canes did pretty well in pro 7 man.
