Booty Call can't play these events due to the fact we have too many D3 players...a few of us will be there reffing though.

Ok, so the players who are not reffing can put in a team.

Few days left to sign up, the weekend looks to be warm and dry - perfect paintball weather.

Sign up or Marilyn gets eaten by a bear.

Well we now have 6 paid teams!!! Lets get 6 more tonight!!!! Either way we will see you guys on Sunday!!!

Again payout is 75% of entry into pot.
1st = 50% of Pot
2nd = 35%
3rd = 15%

No 4th payout do to lower amount of teams... Pm with any questions or concerns. Or text my cell 309-360-8424

Yeah for Sunday! See you all there and for those of you not yet signed up it is not to late to get in on the action.

And to the teams, is there any objection to changing the payouts to only include 1st & 2nd place teams due to low turnout? I suggest 65% for first, 35% for second. It works out to $877.50 for 1st, and $472.50 for 2nd. Just a suggestion.

Good luck to all, we will see you on Sunday funday.

Great day of paintball wars. Thank you to all the staff and refs that made this a fun and well organized event.

The tournament had 6 teams, and ran a round-robin race-to-2 format with the top two teams moving on to finals to play another race-to-2 for 1st/2nd.

Preliminary rounds were hard fought and consisted of the following teams:

Farside Kids
Bradley
RIOT
Old and Busted
EC Randoms
KW Ragtags

After a grueling preliminary round filled with exciting games, the two teams moving on to finals were EC Randoms and Old and Busted. After a short break to clean the field, both teams took to the field to begin finals. In the first game Old and Busted came out on top after battling back winning a 3-on-1 situation hanging the flag and winning the first point of finals. I would like to note that Old and Busted came out on top of two separate 3-on-1 situations during the tournament. Someone get that player a zebra cake. The second game was a much different story, EC Randoms, having lost the first point, came out laser guns...lasering and quickly took the second game to tie it up at 1 game apiece. With the tournament on the line, both teams made conservative break-outs and played a slow methodical 3rd game. With eliminations on both teams the game again came back to another 3-on-1 situation for Old and Busted, unfortunately, the same Old and Busted player who pulled off a dazzling 3-on-1 to take game one couldn't muster the magic a 3rd time giving EC Randoms the elimination, the flag hang, and the tournament.

Exciting finals to say the least. Congratulations to both teams for a hard fought exciting finals.

1st place took home $810 in cold-hard cash, 2nd place left with $540. Before the event started, all of the teams voted to eliminate paying out 3rd place and to add the difference to the 1st/2nd place prize pool. Final payouts being 60% to 1st and 40% to 2nd. Which reminds me, what happened to the trophies?

Thanks again to all the teams who attended. I can't wait for the next event and the chance to play against the high caliber teams that the Midwest consistently produces.

Final standings:
1st - EC Randoms
2nd - Old and Busted
3rd - 6th
