Getting new pump, advice?

Getting a new pump soon so when the snow finally melts (hate the snow so much ) I can take it out hand have some fun with it. My budget is about 600-900 usd. Btw I really liked the feel of the empire sniper, so I would probably like something similar. Cheers

Ccm t2 with plenty left over. Blows the sniper and just about every other pump out of the water.

With your budget grab a CCM. T2, 6.5, the new Midblock. I own a Sniper and a T2, think the Sniper is a great marker but it doesn't compare to the T2.

Now I could spend $200-400 and make the Sniper a nice as my T2 (change the pump assembly out to CCM, drop an 86 CCM frame on just because, swap the internals to CCM) but why. The resale value will not be there and I'll have more into it than if I had just bought a T2/6.5/MB in the first place.

Yeah if your budget is truly that high I would grab a CCM. If your not 100% sure that your going to like pump, and want something to test the waters, the sniper would be a great choice.

I bought an Empire Sniper a while ago and no matter how many times that thing got tuned and maintained, it inevitably had something go wrong with it. When I finally did get it working, I realized it would continue to be a PITA for me and in the end, it just wasn't the pump I wanted.

I now have a CCM 6.5 and am very happy.

Long story short - You have the budget for it. Spring for a CCM. If you decide you don't like pump, the resale value on a used CCM is much better than the resale value of a used Sniper.
