i love the shocktech rat valve we use them in all of our cockers they are great with the stock springs that they come with and we have been able to run around 250 - 350 psi with no problem i have never had a problem and have built more than 10 cockers myself with them

the stock valves are fine, too. good flow, and with a spring kit, you can tune it however you want. you lose a little bit of that with some valves that have special springs.

awesome guys...thanks alot, I have heard of the Rat valve of course...wouldnt be much of a cocker fan if I havnt, this is just my first time with an electronic cocker...mainly Im just trying to find out if the valve requirements are different on a electro cocker vs. a mechanical one...u know like certain valves wont work with higher ROF...know what I mean?
Someone somwhere told me it mattered...wish I could remember who it was...

Yes it will, but an aftermarket valve can increase efficiancy and lower your LPR pressure just slightly.

which is why we upgrade. i've had great exp in the past with the freeflow valve, rat 3:16 and before that just a good ole maddman spring kit. your choice.

I'v always heard god things about the Mac Dev valve. But the best I have ever dealt with are the Palmer LT, and the Belsales supercharger.
