Some people say hot water works but then you might(and probably will) get some in your on/off, and pumped it through your omen, which wouldn't be cool, but thats the only other method i have ever heard beside blowdryer and lighter/torch.

Can someone please tell me the steps I need to do to add a drop? I'm looking at the grip frame diagram. DO I need to take #62 On/Off Rail Set Screw out first or do I need to take the steel braided line first off of the ASA? Or do I need to loosen both ends of the steel line? I am confused. Please help.

remove the rail set screw first...
slide the asa off the rail and remove the rail, just 2 screws hold it in place...
screw your drop on where the rail was and slide the asa onto the drops rail...
Keep the steel braided if possible, otherwise switch to macroline.

g'luck.

Hey Huge. Where can I get "macroline" if I need it?

I got it off BTW no problem. That little screw kind of sucks where it is though right next to the trigger frame.

When I take mine off:

-Unscrew the rail from the asa.
-Unscrew Regulator from vert. asa.
-Slide off reg, s/s cables, and asa.
-Take rail off and install the drop
-Re-install reg.
-Mount Omens asa to new drop, or if you are installing a new asa, take b=cables off Omen's asa and screw into new asa, then mount onto drop.

Hey guys. I got my drop in the mail. Was tinkering with it today. It was really a beatch getting it on becuase of the steel braided line. Here is what I had to do to get it on:

1) Take ASA off
2) Take rail off
3) Unscrew reg
4) Install drop
5) Screw ASA on to drop
6) Screw reg in.

But it was SOOOO hard getting the reg on because the steel braided hose is so tight. I feel like it may be under too much pressure screwed on. The ASA on the drop is kind of croked because of the pressure but it stays on. Plus it seems like the steel hose is a little crimped on the end off of the ASA.

Do you guys think if it was THAT hard to get it on that I should use a longer macroline?
