University of Illinois Freshmen

If you plan on attending the University of Illinois in Champaign this fall, post here to get more info about the club, tournaments, etc...

Summer's coming and it would be great to get to practice with some of you in the Chicagoland area either with our xball squad or our 7 man team.

For more info about the club, post here or email jleong@uiuc.edu.

Xxemit350xX - if you're thinking in terms of sweet talking the admissions office, you're out of luck. however, we can give you tips on how to get in to the university.

bumpinblaze4x4 - as long as you're a student or grad student, you're eligible to play. send me an email and we can talk more in depth

|v|u||eT |-|unTeR - june 15th is your freshman orientation day. there won't be any booths there, but there might be some team members down on campus for the summer. IM me when it gets closer to that date. also, you want to meet us on quad day which is on the tuesday before classes start. all the clubs will be set up on the quad.

Here's a tip:

A] Don't come here. :-P

OR

B] Get a fake so that you are at least 19.

AND

C] Make sure you have a lot of money to spend. You will be suprised how fast you can find yourself to be broke.

Other then that, its just you test scores and grades. Oh, and applying to Liberal Arts and Sciences is supposedly easier then applying into engineering. You can then transfer into engineering.

Other then that, make sure this place is your style.

some people use the agriculture program as a "back door" of sorts to get into the university and then transfer out to another program after a year or two. the college of agriculture has slightly lower admission standards than LAS

Dont shoot me if I'm wrong, but acording to one of my friends, Dee Brown took some Ag classes just so he could pass...lol. But for some reason, he almost never showed at class. (He was in my friends class...)

Dont get me wrong either, I like the U of I, just what I heard.
