walking mech Spyder

Has anyone been able to make a mech Spyder trigger walkable?

You can mod the trigger pull to be shorter... but "walkable" I'm not so sure. It would still be a hard trigger pull for each stroke of the finger.

its not walkable. It gets smoother and may "walk" your fingers. You will not hit high enough bps, maybe 8-10bps max on a good day. To successfully walk on a spyder you need an e-frame and even then its better if modded or like vs2/newer electra/fenix.

You should consider putting an ego frame on you spyder. I've seen some of those walk pretty fast. You'll just need to drill some pin holes and install some springs. I've seen people sell them pretty cheap too.

You can modify a spyder into an intimidator, aka 'spimmy'... But I can't say i see any relationship between the mechanics of an ego and spyder haha
Ex of spimmy:

(These things are really cool..)

I don't think it would be possible to walk any trigger on a mech. spyder, unless you have amazingly strong fingers. (In which case the ladies must love you).

i knew about spimmys but there is a lot more than drilling pin holes and installing some springs to make any kinda of non kingman frame to work..........

older timmy frames are bolt on.
they just extend a little back farther than the body, but the screws are in the same spot.

and for a spimmy all you need is a hole for the front barb on the sleeve.

but getting another frame to operate as a blowback isn't going to happen.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I have several electros now but it seems over the years, electros also seem to let me down when I need them the most. I got away from spools because they are air hogs and bolt stick issues. Poppit guns are my favorite because the bolt comes out so quickly if I break a ball and they are more air efficient.

I always bring either a spare cocker or spyder as a back up and lately they are becoming my main choice for rec and woods.

Although for tourney an electro is preferred simply for ROF, but even then I shoot only semi.

I totally misread the question, which was whether you could make a Spyder trigger walkable...I interpreted it as whether you could walk a Spyder trigger...but, I made this video before that, so I'll post it anyways...

It was shot in my greenhouse, hence the flowers and garden tools in the background...only place I could get away from siblings for a few minutes, so whatever works!

I like both.

Mechs are fun, but switching from an electro to mech needs adjustment.

Just wish a mech was easier to walk. 5bps is more than enough.

I fon't think it would be very reliable ifbit were possable, but I'd say that ottersccustoms is your best bet. Mine's almost walkable, but not really. Just don't lighten up the sear spring too much or it won't catch every time.

just get an old style single trigger frame and be done with it! NO you can't walk a mechanical. i never understood why they made a two finger trigger anyway. now kingman is going back to the single frames for their mil- sim markers.
