if you ever wanna come out to roundtop, we usually have enough extra equipment for at least one if not 2 people to join us. just let us know you're coming so we're sure to have everything

I call my own teammates fools. Check our thread and you'll see that I clearly had nothing but nice things to say. In addition I was nice to everyone and even tried to offer up some constructive criticism. Don't lump people into a group solely because of where they play. I'll represent Wanna-Play until I die or they do but I had a fantastic time at Roundtop and will continue to visit for as long as I play. We are a team built on sportsmanship and respect and if you felt that we delivered otherwise than please feel free to speak up. Sorry if the term fool offends you. It's just a term I use to call anybody on the opposition whether it be my own family or somebody I barely know. Regardless it was fun playing with you guys.

That is fine, as you guys have been treated well by them I assume. Same as some hate Chevys, but others swear by them. Everyone has their own opinions, but please bear in mind that ours have been based on experiences, not hearsay. As a small business owner myself, perception based on experiences are a nearly impossibly hard thing to change. This is no exception, apparently on BOTH of our teams.
Notice we had a few guys at WPP on 9.11 (no jerseys), so we do also partake of that facility, just very rarely. Usually we go for the good, hard play, and a great way to use up leftover paint.

Excellent! I believe we could normally put forth a much stronger showing. Usually we have a much larger team present, and this was VERY VERY unusual for us having two markers go down. Being end of the year, we do not have the whole group of 10 of us out anymore.

I do not believe any of us truly felt that way today. I think the initial comment was from a "history", he who claims others are "haters" seems to be mighty quick to drive out the "hate" wagon...

This was I believe our first time back since we were at WPP on 9.11, so it was very, very nice to knock off (and have knocked off) the cobwebs.
Who was that in that dorito as well? I still cannot believe you were that far on that side of it. That screwed me all up, as I had not committed to THAT large of a run! I had figured about 3 less steps.

By the way, when I was running around at our board, I took a point blank shot right to the ankle by a teammate - had to jog that one off.....

I believe that is in the works - as they USED to have that years ago. (2002-2003ish?)

Also concur on the team practice day. We are working on it, but it seems with a large corporate facility it is much more difficult if not impossible to get that wish. We make up for it with the cheap field fee, and not having to do ANYTHING at all to the field I guess.

Thanks for the replies Deth...we won most of the games yesterday, but we had to work hard to do it! The guy who was playing snake corner in a couple of those games was excellent. I had trouble tucking him in and he kept me from moving in at least one game. I laned the guy in the yellow jersey going to snake in one game and my son (the snake player) said he goes in too high and needs to get his body lower. Just something for him to think about. All in all I enjoyed my time yesterday and hopefully we can play again soon. Feel free to ask us for a gun next time too..I usually have an extra (son was using it yesterday).

yea that was me. i dont have elbow pads right now, so i'm not diving headfirst to the snake like i know i should. thanks for the help tho. i know/knew i have to be lower/quicker, but you guys made the obvious yesterday.

you guys also showed us angls/lanes we're not use to seeing. i have only been playing since julyand know i have a long way to go. but it was still fun playing with all you. practice makes perfect and practicing against better people gets you there quicker (assuming you learn from mistakes and retain things )
