Just curious- maybe someone from the team or close to them can answer this- how many players on the roster are Juniors/Seniors? Obviously they had tremendous individual skills, but when you play with the same people for 3-4 years, you gel and play that much better together.

a lot of us are juniors/sophomores. John is our only senior for next year i believe but he's going back to graduate school

They Beat CSULB (Cal State-Long Beach)

First I have to say those guys are great ballers and congrats to them for winning. One thing they did do was practice the layout like a mofo. We had the pleasure to run some points against them at one of the practices when the layout first came out and they we're looking very strong at that time.

If I remember correctly, it was 4-4 going into the half. FGCU just came out after the break and dominated.

Anyways, after their basketball team made it to the sweet sixteen we knew it was their year anyways

It was a scary first half. We scored, they scored 2, we scored, they scored, we scored 2, they scored.

After that we found out how we were dying, they were pinching us out of home on the snake side. We stopped dying and shot their D-side off the break. They chilled in the snake and we ran up the D-side and center. They couldnt stop us after that. It was all FGCU the second half. A great game tho, those guys had some talent. But im sure they didnt shoot 68 cases of paint the weekend before the event.
