Read Stickies need your Opinion on tank!

Yeh Ive read the stickies and yah Ive seen some opinions on the nation. I KNOW the shocker is a low pressure gun. BUT I see people running them on high pressure all the time!?!??!?! Will doing this blow anything such as a reg, hoses, or anyother internals? Thanks!

"Tanks: If you’re going to buy a new tank I would suggest just getting a HP. Some, but not all preset LP tanks will work. Most will say that a Crossfire is the only LP tank to use. Adjustable tanks should feed the regulator with over 500 psi. If you have the gas-thru grip instead of a regulator, make sure you use a quality adjustable tank and set the pressure accordingly.

Yes, Shockers are low pressure guns, and no, high pressure tanks will not damage them if a properly working regulator is being used. The reg brings the input pressure down to the desired operating pressure. HP tanks are recommended with Shockers to avoid shootdown from starving the gun of air during high rates of fire."

Ok I know that part was just checkin with you guys saw that DSBShocka101 was sayin that NOOOO it cant, and I though that since sp said lp it would be better thanks man ure a big help!!

well....according to him, my gun shouldnt work....and it shoots amazingly....with the 850 output tank.....

I never said HP wont work. I said LP works better!! Dont put words in my mouth its already full.

W/ a LP tank the recharge rate isnt as fast(at least with the one I tried)

Lp does not work better. Get your facts straight. It is pretty much the whole shocker forum Vs. you on saying lp is better.

how does it work better..... Your all saying that HP is better right? How so? OKay w/e LP might not work better I just know my gun works awsome. Okay this is my new opinion both tanks will work the same as long as the LP has good recharge. Now are you satisfied?

well....

this weekend, a friend had a shootdown problem with a brand new hybrid shocker....cleaned it, still shootdown, new battery, new orings, still shootdown.....

replace the 450 output tank with an 800 output....no shootdown, problem solved....

if someone were to actually take the opinions you give, they could be out $200 for a tank that they bought based on your opinion....

everyone here has made mistakes, look up my previous posts, ive owned up to them, there is no point in trying to e-fool someone....

My shocker has no shoot down I use A LP CROSSY PEANUT. Dont even try to say a LP tank wont work. They will just make sure the reg has very good recharge.

dude, I dont care what u think, its ur opinion not mine, sometimes people can even get shootdown with them. Don't go get in a tizzy just becuase someone doesnt agree with you!

OMG NO ONE SAID IT WONT WORK WITH LP! We said it works BETTER!!!! with HP

Like nasty and orion stated, ur CF reg will keep up, the one I tried was PE, while good, didnt have quite the recharge rate of HP, and LP CF's

You have a crossfire. Crossfire regs have a good enough recharge rate that they don't have shootdown.

it will work....it might work perfect....there is no advantage to the output being 450.....if there were, i would get the spring packs for my micro.....

you need basically a crossfire to keep up with the gun to have a good setup with no shootdown.....

and after 3 years of this gun being out, this is an issue now?
