Eagles 1, T.O. 0
The arbitrator upheld the suspension of T.O. Big moral victory for the Eagles.

I was definetly shocked when one of the NFLPA arbitrators sided with the team and not the player. I don't know...T.O.'s natural abilities cannot be questioned but his contributions to the overall team is worse then what he adds individually as a player. Thumbs up to Philly for standing up to T.O. but this may have effectively ended T.O.'s career.

Andy Reed covered his @ss big time. As a supervisor the most important thing to do with a problem employee is documeny everything! A good lesson learned for down the road.

I despise Terrell Owens. He has never even impressed me on the field, much less off.

There is more wrong with this team than just Owens. Simply saying that they have lost four straight because he is not on the field, is failing to look at the bigger picture. Injuries, especially to McNabb, have been hurting the team all season long.

That doesn't impress you? Young threw it into 5 man coverage, 5! and Owens STILL caught it! If that dont impress you, you must be a very depressed person. Just like Randy Moss said, go ahead,..doubht me...

Big deal?
Terrell Owens has only started all sixteen games once since 1998. That does not impress me. Rod Smith is fixing to do it seven out of eleven years. That impresses me.
Terrell Owens has zero Super Bowl rings. That doesn't impress me. Rod Smith has two Super Bowl rings. That impresses me.
Terrel Owens has never caught for over 1,500 yards in a season. That doesn't impress me. Rod Smith has caught for over 1,600 in a season. That impresses me. Especially seeing that Brian Griese and Gus Frerotte split the time at QB, and Ed McCaffrey also caught for 1,300 yards.
Basically, Terrell Owens is nothing spectacular, he brings nothing to the table that any other veteran wide receiver couldn't bring, except a piss poor attitude.
Rod Smith haulin' it in in thick coverage-

A 7 year challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt. The boy surprised the court when he said that his aunt beat him too. He refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family, learning that domestic violence was a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody. After two recesses to check legal references, the judge granted temporary custody to the Philadelphia Eagles, whom the boy and court firmly believe are not capable of beating anyone.
god i hate living in philly sometimes

Rod Smith has 20 games more than TO, and 9 more starts.
To has 10 years in the NFL, Smith has 11.
Now, lets get to the numbers:
Recs:
TO: 716
Smith: 769
Yards:
TO: 10535
Smith: 10495
Avg Rec:
TO: 14.7
Smith: 13.6
Long:
TO: 91
Smith: 85
TD:
TO: 101
Smith: 64
20+:
TO: 158
Smith: 134
40+:
TO: 40
Smith: 21
God, I hate TO, but he is an amazing football player. What he does off the field does not represent what he does on the field.
Players don't win Superbowls, teams do.

And Rod Smith has only been in the league for one more season than Terrell Owens, in which he only caught six passes because he was an undrafted rookie. It only solidifies my point that Terrell Owens is undependable.
Players that make up a team win Superbowls.
Also, I still don't see how he is amazing. Every single one of his stats are comparable to Rod Smith's, except touchdowns and 40+'s, which by the way, the Broncos have always been a "grind it with the run" team, which equals fewer opportunities to throw the long ball. Few people call Rod Smith amazing, yet his stats are matched with Terrell Owens, why is that? You, like the rest, think Terrell Owens is amazing because he tells you he's amazing.

People will say he sucks because of his attitude. It doesn't matter what he does on the field, if his ego is too big, people will say he sucks. Does that mean he actually does? No, it just means that they don't like his attitude/ego/personality, so they say he sucks.

And yet, touchdowns count for 6. Superbowl rings don't.

well yeah, the guy is physically the most talented receiever in the league. But because of his poor attittude and his "gift" at alienateing his team mates and everyone that works for the eagles. People will say he sucks, because he is a selfish jerk who brings down the level of play fromh is team mates to make himself look good. Players like Tedi Bruschi, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Jerry Rice etc. bring the level of morality of their team way way up.
So yes if u want to say terrel owens sucks, go ahead, he doesn't make his team mates better, he makes em worse. That makes him a bad player on and off the field.

When TO goes to Dallas/Atlanta and they win the super bowl it will undoubtedly be TO=Winner, Eagles- Losers.
Go TO... Just not to the AFC.
