Can I use a double oring bonnet on a regulator that only has only one oring? Or do I need another bonnet with 1 oring. Thanks

So I used my Ninja SL for the first time today and I loved it . I'm now traveling out of state to go back to school, and the reg is on SUPER TIGHT. The tank is degassed, but i cant seem to loosen it at all. Do you have any tips on getting the Pro V2 reg off of the tank, so I can travel with it?

If that fails, you can always mail it to your new location.

Glad to hear you like the system.
Yes: shipping to location is always the best option, or see if your local Pro shop can safely remove the reg, When we mount the reg to the Tank we use a Low torque setting ( reg mounting fixture ) should only need few pound reverse torque to brake the reg loose, once the reg is removed from tank make sure to brush off the reg stem threads ( tooth brush ) before reinstalling,

Ninja Tech,

I just came off a year break... My gear (including several tanks one of which is a ninja 50ci) has been in climate controlled storage... I'm coming back now that work schedule allows it. I pull out my gear and all is fine except the 50ci... The outer shell appears to be split all over the tank. This is not the first time I have had trouble with this tank... It developed a crack in outer shell a few months after purchase and I sent it in and you guys took care of it. Thanks for that... But this tank has barely been used ( filled maybe 20 times)
So the questions are
Is it safe to use?
Will any field even fill it looking like this?
When I received the replacement tank... The outer shell was tacky ( almost sticky) is this related?
What are my options?

Nice one! Np our tank Mfr will re-finish it at n/c.
you know the drill / see Tank warranty repair for shipping label. New clear application as seen on the SL Tanks , Much better application process. Perfect finish / no issues.
Yeah its safe to use however filling it is up to the field owner,

Just picked up one of your new SL tanks with the Pro V2 reg. The finish isn't quite as crisp as some of the photos I have seen on others reviews. I purchased it NIB but has what appears to be 'rubbed' areas from shipping. Is this common? Anything I can do to safely shine it up?

cracked finish

My sons 50/45 has cracks visable at the bottom of his tank. Its a grey ghost. I wont let him use it because all the other carbon fibre tanks we used did not do this. Is this a repairable defect?

If no swithing out the bonet or top part with my slp or regular pro reg is it possible ( i cant remove the whole reg seems to be locktite, i just want to change the upper part after the rotating ring).. You think it will work? Thanks

Shoot me some pictures to Nathan@ninjapaintball.com , we inspect and weigh each tank before they leave but shoot me over some pictures so I can see what you mean and we will get you taken care of

If it is a standard Ninja regulator then yes you can

The outer cosmetic coating cracks is something that can happen to any paintball tank on the market and not just Ninja tanks. We had a bad batch of tanks that got out in 2012 that were more prone to cracking but we have since solved that issue and have not had any cracked tanks since.

If you do happen to come across a Ninja system that does that or has an issue keep in mind we warranty our tanks until the first hydro and you can send it in through our warranty program at ninjapaintball.com and get it recoated for free.

What you are seeing there is a cosmetic defect in the gel coating that can happen to any tank out there however we had a bad batch that was more prone to it. That tank is still 100% safe to use and he can still go out and play but we do cover that under warranty and will recoat it free of charge. Just head over to ninjapaintball.com and fill out our bottle warranty form under the warranty section.

Ninja does not sell only tanks as a liability. You would need to buy a system to get an SL bottle.

Just got my new SL and it appears that it may be slightly warped. When I look at it I can see a very slight gradual ridge on one side of the tank running horizontally. It does not go around the entire tank and when I run my finger over it I can feel it rise and fall as I pass over it. Is this a defect or normal for a tank? (It's my first HPA and wanted to check before filling it)

Ninja Pro Reg Question.

Im wanting to buy a ninja pro reg for my tank (68/4500) and i noticed that there was a bunch of different regs and im obviously not wanting to get the wrong one) Just wanting to know what is the difference between some of them specifically the Pro v2 and the pro? I shoot a Lv1 and which ever one would fit best with that. Im sure my question is answered somewhere and im sorry if it was obvious and i missed it. -Thanks Roy!
