Oh sorry... forgot a part:

"Perfect condition, only scratches on the ASA, reg, body, eye covers, feedneck, and barrel, and it only leaks from 1 macro, the reg, and down the barrel. A few o-rings need replaced, and a few lines are out on the LCD. The bolt might need replacing soon, but otherwise perfect condition!!!!"

in other news... I love my FX, but for some reason I want to drop the "you shoot a DP?" thing and might want to trade for something else at least for a second gun... Nothing in my realistic trading range really impresses me. I'd consider an 08 ego, but is there something else out there in the $350 - $400 range that might be worth it?

FYI, I love the way my FX with NDZ bolt and law ram feels, and I'm a poppet guy... just to keep in mind.

If you like the FX...Keep it..who cares what other people say if it works for you. I catch hell about shooting my Ego and Droid because there are a lot of BL and Dye fanboys out here. At 12.5 BPS capped, its more the player, barrel and paint than the gun anyway.

so i beat the **** out of the ND all day and it got trashed. eyes dirty as hell, it chopped a ball all down the barrel and my paint was wipping every way possible. some kid runs me down in the snake. i one hand gatted him and he bounced me. jumped into snake two and tried to hose some guy playing way to loose but i couldnt reach him because my barrel was full of paint. went into one hand mode while ramping screaming "dye mutha ****a dye!" and he got scared

this was 7man practice after the 3man tourny

I know the gun isn't holding me back at all, in fact I do surprise some people with how the FX shoots, and I promote it like no other, but at the end of the day the BL/DYE/PE crowd try the gentle "Have you considered getting a ______" (BL/DYE/PE). The tipping point was when someone with a horribly setup G6R (and by horribly setup I mean it was louder and kicked more than a Tippy 98) still felt like their gun was better and was trying to tell me how I should pick up something better than my FX... I about went off on a rant.

Now don't get me wrong, if I had the money I would probably have a '12 G6R or, preferably, a Clone GT, and I know in my head that '11 Egos are better guns than FXs.

I took a new G4 out of the box set the FPS to 270...then fired 3 shots with each bolt.

Not the most scientific test...but I live in the middle of the city and dont want the cops beating down my door.

id rather grab a 2010 indy than an 08-09 ego for $400. just need to find a deal. some 09s go for $400, others 250. its kinda hit and miss.. luck of the draw.

stiggy, idk if id want a reg extender. paying that much for a gun, i enjoy shooting it bone stock with the only modification being that i "tuned" it.
