Etha 2 Foregrip

The Etha 2 felt "cheap" because of the plastic foregrip. Here is a little DIY mod I'd like to share. Bought a sheet of TALON grips, cut to fit and added it on. The rubber texture change made a world of difference when holding the gun.

Pic for reference:

Nice. The grip doesn't bother me because I wear gloves. The thing that surprised me was how good the trigger frame grip feels. I thought it would be hard but it's actually pretty nice.

The grips are the exact same rubber we use on all Ego's, Gtek's, Etek's and Geo's, including LV1 and CS1. Absolutely NOTHING cheap about the grips.

Jack
He's talking about the front foregrip, which is just hard plastic, not rubber

Nice touch! I've owned every model eclipse now since 05 (well, excluding csl, lvR and gsl). I was very pleased that the grip was nice! How impressed you may ask?

It certainly is a great gun. The foregrip was my only gripe, but at a $400 price point I get it.

I did however have issues with it shooting over 200 FPS out of box. Luckily Tommy was at the last USXBL PE Open event, and he got that sorted out for me. Something had come loose, I think reg cap?

Just got mine today and I can't be more pleased. I too like a more rubbery foregrip so I got an old bicycle tube from my mountain bike, cut a 3" section and it fits like a glove. Now the battery cover buttons are completely covered and protected from any shots to the foregrip and I have less nooks and crannies to clean.
