The new field looks great. We need to take a few pic today before the paint start fly'in and put the best one up on the website. This should get some people excited to come out!
For those going to the GFOA next weekend, my research shows that the Days Inn in Covington, GA is probably the best place to stay. It's $46 for a room ($56 after taxes) with 2 doubles next Friday night. This hotel is almost identical to the first GFOA event hotel that we stayed in on March 2nd - pool, continental breakfast, wireless Internet, etc. It's 35 minutes SW of the field but the Madison hotels are 35 mins SE of Wildfire Paintball. There's nothing near the field. This Days Inn is on the Atlanta side of the field so it would save about 30 minutes driving on Friday night. Check it out so we can talk about this on Sunday afternoon.
Yes. Manadatory practice is at noon. Bring $$$ if you plan to play in the tournament next weekend. We will talk about next weekend's tournament options.

Good job yesterday Axis Red on the 3rd place finish. You guys were close to getting second just by a couple of unfortunate events. The first place team was definitely D4 level and had been playing together for a long time. MVP goes to Casey for his 1 on 3 victory in game 5. Everyone played well together and complemented each other's strengths.

Had a great time this past Saturday. Thanks for letting an old guy like me get in there and play. Keep playing hard and great things will happen for you guys. Hopefully I'll catch another tourney with ya'll soon.

Tomorrow is the Relay for Life at Spring Hill High School. I just checked and we are a ways away from our goal. I know Bill hasn't been on in a few days and has a lot going on with the Relay and the Car Show and the field. We have to step it up and get closer to our goal we are only about a 3rd of the way there. We have to look at this as an event and do our best and come in in the top for donations in our community.
Team Axis/Axis Red you can make a difference in the community and show the community through your involvement and donations. You are in a sport and compete in a sport not a lot of the community knows about but you know there are people in the community that need your help so get out and do it.
The goal is not an outrageous goal and for all Bill has done and trys to do we now need to do our part. I know all of us know someone that has battle cancer or is battling cancer. We need to get out with of our comfort zone and shake some trees, ring some doorbells or whatever needs to be done to get the donations in.
We are never guaranteed that cancer will not strike us or someone in our family. Let's do our part to exceed the goal and help raise funds to find cures for the disease. The Team is "Team Paint by Numbers" it is easy to donate and takes less than 5 minutes for someone to donate to a participant or just donate.
