True that....minus the 3 years deal, it will be 9 months for me.
Of the 7 close friends of mine who graduated with their Bachelors Degree...1 has found a decent paying job. The rest are either moving back in to their parents house working a **** job, or they're going back to get their Master's Degree and take on more student loan debt...

My buddy told me that with my degree and 20 years in the Corps I would be able to get a good paying job no problem in Boeing

I might finish my 4 year degree... Eventually. Or I can do something fun like cullinary school, or welding school. It appears that my 2 year degree and Master Training Specialist cert were good eniugh to get me started.

...which is ironic, since Walt Disney hated the military (after serving).

Oh, and **** you. My mom's a baller. She took me shooting the other day, because she wanted to practice some more with her .38 revolver (which she's kind of scary good with). I rented a glock 19 (9mm), which will probably be my next firearm purchase.... I was very surprised how much I liked the glock.

That is why I want to go, well... to cook BETTER. More techniques and the science behind it.
Welding looks fun as well, and I might be able to make some money off of it (on the side). I DO NOT want to cook for a living.

That's something I thought about too. Getting certified as a BMW technician or something.
How much is the GI Bill worth? I'm wondering if it would be theoretically possible to get my MBA (48 credits) and then use the rest on something I want like culinary school or BMW technician.

9 semesters. Doesn't matter if you take 1 class a semester or 10, it only deducts the months. Obviously you'll need to 3-4 classes to make it full time.

That's .... nothing. You can't get a bachelor's degree unless you go over 12 credits a semester at least once. That's ****ing lame.

School full time and work full time? It can be done, but it will kick your ***. No personal life, unless you have a job where you don't have to do any real work.

I know someone that was working full time doing yard service and finished his masters.
"For graduate level training, the training time is determined by the college - for example, if a 2 hour class is considered full time in a graduate program at your school, the VA will pay you the full time rate."

I only take one class at a time with TA and if I really wanted to I know I could if wanted to do more but I don't want to have to stress on deadlines, work and all that

I'm going to have to do online school. I travel too much with my current job and wouldn't be able to keep up. Which sucks because it would cut my BAH in half
