alright so i plan on joining the army when i graduate high school. so i have these few questions.

1. when do you do your first physical test?

2. when do they start and how often do they drug test? i currently smoke weed but im going to quit months ahead of time to be sure but id still like to know

you can get piss tested while you're in the Delayed Entry Program (the time after you swear in to when you leave) you'll be piss tested at MEPS, and should be again at bootcamp. Now I'm not sure about the bootcamp one since I am in the Marines but that is how we do.

Also the DEP one I know of b/c we had to barrow piss tests from them and again they had to barrow some from us once.

Your recruiter should adminster a PT test to you before you go to MEPS in the first place.

I had one urinary analysis at MEPS. Didn't have one at basic/airborne. Had many at my duty station. Had one in Iraq.
