It's great that you have an opinion.
Build a better one from cheap/free materials and show us, then.

I was at pet smart the other day buying cat food, and science diet had a deal for a bag of food in this big tupperware kinda thing. The entire lid comes off so you can empty the bag of catfood (or paintballs) into it, and it has a spout that you can pour the catfood (or paintballs) out of. Thing works perfect, hold almost 3 bags of paint, easy to dump the whole bag into it, and easy to pour out into your pods. And if you're buying catfood already...it's free. So beat that price.

Nice...but seriously a paintball caddy is like $18-20, looks a lot better, and in most cases works a lot better. My paintball caddy is probably one of the best purchases i've ever made. What's next pringles cans for pods? and cut lids for ghetto speedfeeds. you going to start drilling holes in pipes and duct tape them to your freak back and use it as a barrel? I mean I was a poor 14 year old once...but I dunno...just some things to me aren't worth the time/effort to save a couple bucks.

~G

p.s. the only ghetto caddys I have are the plastic milk jugs from costco...and that's what I give to friends to use when they play for the first time...

You just compared a paintball caddy to objects you use while you are playing, that help you play the game better, which makes no sense. Next time I see someone running around on the field with their caddy, I'll worry about the looks of it and think your comparison is valid. But last time I checked, a paintball caddy is used to load balls into your pods more easily. Forgive some of us if we don't want to spend 20 bucks for something that we can easily get for under 5 bucks and have it work just as well and be made of the same materials. Honestly, paying 20 bucks for a paintball caddy is ridiculous.

Yeah but i've seen dumb *****...buy the cheer, sour cream, and water bottle...throw all of it (which is already about $20 wasted alone). then spend an hour or more washing all the crap out and putting the ghetto caddy together. When in reality...you could've spent that same hour (and way less money) washing a car or two or hell just mowing someone's lawn to make enough money to buy a real caddy with even some extra bucks left over for paint.

Building things with your hands is never a waste of time, especially for young people. It's a valuable learning activity, and whether you save money in the process isn't even important.

Yeah but the same argument could be made about working for your money and learning the value of a dollar...don't the 14 year old kids on here complain non-stop about how they "worked to buy their guns" etc. etc.

Yeah...I can see that. I'm all for buying the cheap stuff at walmart or something, rather the building a ghetto caddy.

wow, all this hate over a ball caddy, seriously, dude made something out of what he had available instead of adding it to a landfill. sure, you can go out an buy something, but you feel better about it ifyou make it yourself, and out of stuff that would have been tossed anyways.

i understand both points, but still, if you are on a budget and it comes down to $20, thats either a new caddy or a day of paintball. id rather spend the money on having fun and make a caddy out fo used stuff, so what if it looks like what it is, as long as it works for what he needs. the only one you have to please is yourself, insulting people for trying something new just proves that you cant even do that.

to the OP: good work and thanks for posting that.

to everyone that feels the need to flame people for sharing their ideas, grow up, please.
