No, there are only a few unbalanced heroes. Keep in mind that the heroes are balanced according to non em games. Heroes like merc really arent that amazing in tourny play.

I know what vent is, i was unaware there was one for dota though... does like everyone use it? Must be hundreds of people on it

gotcha, well after playing a few games today, i've found "my" hero.

probably a very odd choice, but i'm 20x better with Chen than any other hero

I play with the names M-DuB or TerranMarine on USWEST. Me and my friends are decent I'd say (certainly a lot better than the average pub player). A couple of my friends are really good and used to play in leagues.

I don't tango-juke or anything but can play almost every hero (except damn Invoker haha).

i looked up some guides to see how well I was using and it looks like he should be using an army of creeps, but to tell the truth, i completely ignore persuasion until the last 4 levels.

i would buy shivas right off the bat and go around ganking with people. Penitence is so amazing when your supporting a real gank hero.

Guides are for sissies. I just play based on the fools around me. It's so easy to pick a hero out and just gank him mercilessly if you have a decent team. Then that forces the scourge to turn on him and lead to his eventual exit.
