Pooty modded bolts are nothing new. O-rings on bolts were utilized on autocockers back in early 2000. Both WGP and Eclipse had metal and delrin version of the bolts with the o-rings. So if anything Pooty took WGP/Eclipse design and started selling it to people.

The valve pin is kind of like the "Check It Low Pressure High Flow Exhaust Valve Cupseal Assembly" - http://paintballgateway.com/chitauhiflex.html. Again that design has been around since autococker days.

The weight in the bolt is smart. Instead of increasing the rammer weight they added the weight to the bolt.

I would not say you are a leader. More of a promoter.
Here is your leader, WGP The only thing is that WGP screwed up when they put o-rings that were about 4 sizes too big on the bolt. It added way too much drag to the bolt in the pump config. That is why more people went to o-ring less. Once PE/Besales came out with the orginial DART Bolt, it was the first time o-rings on a bolt was actually a plus instead of a minus.

Let me talk about this some more. A while back I heard about the brass inserts. We have also been toying with the brass/heavy design theory before the talk about this bolt..

Does it work.. In our testing yes. Does it effect the noid, ram, poppet? In our testing no negative effects were found. But a too high of a bolt weight you will start to see effects.

So would I buy this as an upgrade.. Yes

We found higher fps readings with no notice of extra kick.. My first thoughts were that we would get more kick from the extra movement in bolt mass.
Lighter bolt means less kick right? Well to my surprise the extra weight did not. Well not any more kick then before.

I myself have not seen the insert in this bolt. It could be a ramped insert? It could be a full length bored out insert? But that would be a heavy bolt for sure. My guess would be a full lengh insert to allow the bolts tip to not be effected by the air flow.

You have it all wrong.. I have helped make the o-rings on the bolts relevant.. That’s the point. Never did I say I made it up. That’s just people doing there best to come up with anything negative. It's been reported that jack himself has asked people "So what do you think about what Pooty does to the bolts".
So yes I do think myself/Techt have had some influence in this matter. No credit at all did I ever take. But indeed the fight has been with me ALLOT about this single issue... No one can say it hasn't.. If you do then you haven’t sent the past posts

The ego-s is what the manual refers to the ego 11 in the instruction manual for my ego. But the spare parts kit still says ego 11. Weird.

Why wouldn't they test the D.A.R.T. in a normal 11? Pretty sure an aluminum block body is the only thing that can suggest a new ego at this point.

Since Planet moved to a 2 to 3(?) year cycle they dropped the name "Ego 11" and moved to the "Ego S." I have yet to hear about anything new on the World Cup horizon but am holding my breath like everyone else.

Let me first start off by saying Pooty's products are awesome. But I did have an issue with the Pooty modded cure 3 I had. It wore down my breach as soon as I put it in. It worked as advertised but that was my only issue. I'm not sure if it was the machine he used to mod the bolt or not.

Correct. If you look in any of the ego 11's that came in the "new" universal case like the geo 3, they are refereed to as the ego-s. Sorry for the ****ty pic, but the Ego-S is the same thing as a ego 11.
