Cool Russian Legion's budding pros - Russian Legion Double

As anyone knows, Russia has a huge pool of players, especially young ones. In fact Russian Legion has its own second team - Russian Legion Double who play D1 in Russia. (Pro level in Russian paintball events) Some of the players on the roster were present on the Russian national U19 team in St Tropez. This group of up and coming RL killers may be setting a few balls on pro players "when they grow up". The team is coached by Russian Legion's own Petr Vasilyev and Alexey Soloviev. Here is the current roster of RL Double

Anton Kuchigashev
Ruslan Kulagin
Alexander Zabara
Nikolay Bugrov
Marat Mussov
Bogdan Klevtsov
Timofey Skaballanovich
Stanislav Polyakov
Leonid Smotrov
Motornuyk Anton

Russian Legion Paintball Club is a mecca of young players wanting to learn from the best. Everything from training to playing style is patterned after the legendary team.

Anton Motornuyk heads up this group of young killers. Tryouts were held for those who were ambitious enough to make a spot on the farm team. One of the current players, Anton Kuchigashev will play with Red Legion at the 2013 World Cup in a couple of weeks. There is a great deal of talent coming out of Russia.

Just one month after the team roster was set they had already started collecting gold taking their first win at their first event. Most of the players were already familiar with each other since most were on the U19 team this year.

So far this year the team has racked up some impressive finishes. In addition to the EPBF U19 the team has picked podium spots from:

1st place Moscow cup D2
1st Place U18 Russian cup
3rd place Hotball D1
2nd place RXL 4th event
RXL Final 1st place D1

The team and coaches have started to think and decide where to attack next in the way series and events. They will however participate in the 2014 U19 event in the Millennium Series. Many of the guys are free agents for teams in events that the RL Double team doesn't participate. Watch your back as the Russians are coming.
