Anyone planning on attending a PSP event this season or in the future? The larger field might be here to stay, I'd hate to fall behind the other teams, or limit who will show up because of field accuracy, we all know how PB kids are these days.....

The field is already big enough net to net. Since we don't use dead boxes it's not that big of a deal.

field accuracy wouldn't be an issue. obviously he couldn't use psp layouts but there are plenty of leagues still playing 150' (USPA, NYPL etc). I guess it really comes down to what people prefer. I thought the PSP texas games were painfully boring to watch. Each game was taking forever and most of the matches went to time...not to mention teams were shooting a lot more paint despite less points being played. That type of paintball sounds gross to me, but my opinion doesn't matter any more than the next guy's.

I'd say keep it 150 for now. Maybe use the USPA layouts for the series this year?
If you have room for 170 later on down the road if teams want it, or another program starts up, you'll have no problem changing it.

Galveston Layout was to blame for the long, slow games. Anytime there are three massive bunkers in the back, especially temples, the game are going to drag. All three bunkers had devastating shots on the tapes and across the center.
I think 170 would be interesting. Worst case scenario, you get better at moving up the field to get shots.
I think people are over-estimating the difference.

There's no sense in making the field 170 feet long. They don't release the layouts prior the events, and there aren't any PSP playing teams around here.
Unless Mike is going to make the TPA series like the PSP format, what's the purpose?

I say mike runs this like he has been. Also giving the options of prizes on not will help will lower budget teams. Let's play some tough competitive paintball. Bring your A game to the field, treat mike, his staff, and the area with respect and let's ball. You want all the different rules and regulations then go play psp nppl etc.... and pay a hell of a lot more. I'm with mike and TPA this summer.

Comprehension isn't your strong point, bud. What are you even talking about? Mike asked what the players want and the players are responding. The fact you are sticking with Mike and TPA is not relevant at all. lol

He's stating that he likes the way things have been operated in the past. Like the 150ft field. Literally the same thing you guys were discussing.

Yeah, the first sentence. Then he was all like, go play this format, I'm with Mike.
Not relevant. SMH TJ

It's a discussion forum. I didn't know everything we posted had to be 100% relevant to other people's posts. Give people a break every once in a while.

Sorry didn't catch what mike said on the other page. I took it as people wanted him to change things . Where I believe let mike run it and let's play.
