Congrats.

I did the math and I think I'll wait until my birthday and use all I've saved as a down payment on an 04/05 STi or Evo. Will probably stretch it out to like 20 or so and hope to find one lower miled/with plenty done to it. I'd really like a built engine from someone to start with. That'd help my decision quite a bit. Plus, with around 20, I could find one that is better taken care of rather than finding one for like 12 that's had like POS mods, high miled and not worth messing with.

So late march I should be in an STi. I don't want to wait that long, though. :/

There are a bunch of sub 40k STIs on Nasioc right around $17-20k.

So stoked for my coils tires fell through, but I've got a backup option. I'm hoping to get new wheels&tires too.

Why not just keep playing with your current bugeye?

I keep kicking myself for getting the STI. I owned my bugeye, had low insurance, etc etc. But I couldn't afford to swap the trans, motor, and hubs so it was a decent move to do what I did. Now that I am filly built... I guess it was a decent go.

Are you going to buy brand new or a low mile'd 11/12 STI?

Its going to be tough. Between what I can get out of the bugeye and parting out the goodies, $15k is a tough price point for a car.

What stuff you going to be getting rid of? Have anything interior wise I could snag? I wish it was a newer model cause I want to do some side skirts, front lip, and rear diffuser
