why wasn't the vapor added into this poll. very simuler to a luxe. mabye a tad smoother

coming from a third party view not looking at buying either .
eliminate any thoughts of opinion such as the boards and "feel" its a vs thread not a i like this one because it feels right (not fair to add opinion)


-the vanquish is HORRID looking (worse than any bob long)
-(fairly sure vanquish is 1 allen key for everything +++)
-barrel kit +
-JUST BECAUSE ITS FIRST GEN DOSNT MEAN IT WILL CERTAINLY HAVE PROBLEMS
-empire is like buick however nice it may be, the name alone is enough for me not to think luxury

adding very little info for the luxe
-NO reason gun shouldnt take a 9v
-more aftermarket stuff (swarovski pooty mod being my fav)

the shape of the trigger might be a good way to decide on which is right for you ,as in psp vs semi(if the vanquish has a bump trigger rather than the luxe rake)

The vapor probably got left out cuz it's a piece of ****. I've never seen someone play for more than an hour with one without having to adjust/fix it. I'd include the vanguard demon in this comparison before the vapor (it's also a fancy gun with a shocker bolt system).

1st off my vapor has never had a issue and its the people who don't know how to use them that make them look bad
2nd(just my opinion) vanguard needs to make a gun that isn't made of what appears to be 100% recycled parts
And most importantly 3rd have you lost your mind? The luxe vapor clonegt vanquish and demon bolts are near identical...how can you say one is a fancy shocker and not the others if theyr the same. And just figured I'd throw in that the luxe is more related to the shocker than any other marker I listed earlier due to dlx being a former branch of smart parts.

Any r tard can pull out an engine and see most new high ends are near identical. You have obviously not done this.

I said its ALSO a fancy shocker. Meaning they all are. I'm very aware near every super high end gun coming out over the last 3 or so years has been a upgraded shocker.

yeah, its like the NTs, its the users fault and not the markers, so why Dye and Machine made a marker that most people cant handle them?just to destroy their image?

The Luxe and Vanuish are nice markers, but they are yesterday's $700 marker with a few small changes and a doubled price.

i have to admit that i cant neither justify the $1500 for these markers, compared to an AXE, they're not 3 time better( i know that the triple price doesnt mean that it is 3 times better, just saying) or not that much better than a GEO 3 or a V COM

Held and shot a Vanquish, seems just a little bit smoother than a new Luxe.

Anyone saying that it is first gen; It's platform is from a Luxe so it is more like a 3rd gen.

i'd say 4th gen after 1.0 1.5 and 2.0, and i believe that Empire wouldnt release a crappy marker for $1500, they had all the time to fix the problems that they should have encountered

Never shot one but every vanquish I saw at psp chi (5+) was twice as loud as my 2.0.

I was a luxe fanboy. All I thought about is luxe splatter luxe sexy luxe smooth. I go into the paintball store and there my buddy was tuning his vanquish. For the goofs I said why not shoot this ugly piece of ****. I was amazed. It was comfy and accurate. I then traded with him. Don't get me wrong the luxe is the sexiest marker and the vanquisg is ugly but I love its features

The features are awesome. Like 1 Allen key wtf? Awesome than it displays the pressure in the screen. Is that even possible?? Lol. Full barrel kit. Deuce trigger But how is the shot quality? Is it quiet?? The vanquishes I have heard at my field have very weird sound signature like they crack and than pop or puff it's weird.

I love the shot. Truly love it. The sound, yes its louder and wierder. But to me not being on a pro team or a team fir that matter it doesn't matter how it sounds to me but I have never truly listened for its sound quality so I can't be a judge

I'm not downing on the vanquish, I am always happy when a company steps into the high end market, usually happier for the smaller companies but welcome empire. Have shot 4 different vanquishes now. The shot is okay, not nearly that of a vcom, luxe, or GTi. The kick is definitely noticeable when shooting side by side with the three mentioned before. The sound is like a loud Geo without the poof sound and replace the poof noise with a ting like you're tapping the bottle with an Allen key. The following is purely opinion:

Looks ugly as sin, feels cheap (maybe the odd grips?), super freak barrel is overrated considering it is no more accurate and still so loud.

I respect the Luxe but have no desire to own one again. GTi or Vcom all day. I don't see the reason in going with a vanquish over a luxe, GTi or Vcom. If you eliminate Vcom because of the lpr I still see no reason to pick a vanquish over a GTi or Luxe.

The reason to choose any gun wether it be a tippman 98 over a spyder or a vanquish over a luxe is pure prefrence. To me the gun feels better made thab any gun. Though it is ugly I'm in the gun for the features on the field not in a museam. I hate the luxe taljing and the fact you csnt change modes in 1 2 3. Smoothest gun out there, yes. best gun out there, prefrence

I never said any gun was the best gun. I merely stated the advantages of one over the other. I don't own a luxe anymore and never would again unless they change to an oled. But I wouldn't own a vanquish either. For the price range there are two guns that IMO blow it away in tons of ways. I like the idea they had behind the vanquish but I feel they failed in a lot of ways. I'm entitled to my opinion like everyone else.

Vanquish 1.5 or Luxe 2.0 OLED? Looking to decide between those 2 in the next day or so and get a order in! Sadly still considering the Geo 3.5 or a poppet. I am all over the place with these markers.
