Im starting this thread so we can all discuss team related things such as sponsors, ideas for raising funds, practice nights, tourny prep and other such stuff so we can all post up our own thoughts and read everyone elses all in one place rather than mass txt's and e-mails.

as far as that angel sponsorship package Ive been looking into heres waht Ive got from everyone so far

me= Im happy with the deal, but if we decide against it it wont hurt my feelings
kenny= yes, for that price he'll rock an a1 fly for a season
Joe = strong NO realy not into it due to the big investment in his current gear
Jamie= yes, thinks it's a big break for the team
Ben= he could go either way, he feels the same as Joe about all his current gear and investment, but he's also up for new stuff
caleb= a simple yes
kevin= he has been talking to angel for a few weeks now about a personal sponsorship with them and the #'s he gave me are way lower than what i got so I would expect he would stick with what he's working on
matty= thinks were koves koves now, thanks for the input matt esspecialy since I havnt't got your input on angel yet

I havnt heard from anyone else yet but as I do I will ad it to this post
thanks for reading guys lets make somthing happen this season cause I know how much we all love running around the feild with our pants around our ankles picking up paint

Weighing in with my two cents. I know we will never get over the looks. I know we can't take back the money we've spent and I know we all agreed to no gun deals. From what Jimmy has relayed to me, This deal is a preliminary offer otherwise he wouldn't have posted it on nation. Kevin is apparently taken the next step, thank you for hopefully doing this with the best interest of the team in mind. This would be my next step if time was available for me to persue these things. This was to be Joes job. Anyone looking to do this should contact myself or Joe. No sense in having roles if they are not to be used properly. But enough of the logistics of how things should be and lets talk about how things are...............

Angel was once a huge name in paintball. Like it or not they are one of the few companies that for the meantime appears to be staying around. To do so they have to prove themselves on the tournament scene. Face it egos and dyes say no more. My take is they are doing what it takes to get these guns in peoples hands. What better opportunity for them to test their new ****. Soft goods are soft goods and that is alll minor in the end. Any package, you are paying wholesale for the gun and the rest is how good of a negotiator you are,how good your reputation is and schedule will come into play. The beauty of what Jimmy told me is the guy isn't holding us to any certain number, or will not be upset to see us using other gear in unison. This is my main reason for not going with a gear sponsor is because I don't want exclusive rights held over what I/we shoot or wear. Bottomline, we need to explore these routes and I thank jimmy for taking the intiative, but there it is Jimmy. Its not easy getting ten guys to decide on anything. I will be a guinea pig for 2010 and Ill see if those Fly's can live up to its name. Literally................................YYYYeeeee eeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeeee

trust me Im not trying to get 10 guys to agree to anything I just saw an opportunity and decieded to explore it, when I found out how good of a deal it seemed to me I decieded to bring it up to the rest of the team. Im not trying to push or force anything on any of you guys Im just getting us an offer for what I felt could be good for the team, and let us make a decision on it as a team. esspecialy since I allready own a fully fly'd A1 and I know how awsome that gun shoot's I personaly could care less what we aear for gear it all gets dirty in the end anyways.

and I started this thread cause I found it alittle difficult to talk to everyone through e-mail all at the same time and keep everyone informed on waht everyone else thought, with this thread everyone's thoughts can be right here 24/7 for everyone to read, kinda like a 24/7 team meeting
