Phoenix United Played Semi Pro in the NPPL last season and a couple events in D1 for PSP I think.
They also added Bobby Avilles to their already strong roster for this season. They should do great.
Camille nailed who the Indy team is, also a strong group of players.
Scottsdale Elevation is my team which is Team NXe that played SD NPPL in the pro spot as Phily All Americans. We hope to do well as well and will train as hard as we did before playing that event.

Americans are Smart Parts funded, Ironmen are DYE funded so it would make sense that they are staying with their principle league for the time being. Maybe in time things will change.
Aftermath is playing PSP. As far as 7man goes I heard that Hinman is one of the owners or is the owner of a west coast 7 man league so playing this one I would guess detracts from his other financial interests. That is my best guess.
The dogs I dont have a clue to their reasoning. I'm unfamiliar if they are still a Smart Parts team or not. I know they played very well in SD to save their pro spot, just to have the league collapse. Their were rumors last year that they would be only playing one league this season because (like many money is tight) so maybe they just chose the other.

Yeah true...but, why would smart parts and dye not allow their factory teams to play in this league? I mean, they both played in the NPPL, even though both major sponsors were (and still are) the biggest sponsors of the PSP...

Very true.
However Dynasty stated last season they would continue to play both NPPL and PSP. Also Dynasty is a business, so they hustle their funds to play from more then just Smart Parts. All of their cookies do not come from the same factory if you get what I'm saying.
Many of the Ironmen are on the Dye payroll from my understanding. So if the person who signs your checks wants you somewhere and not somewhere else, typically you do so. I would expect out of the the 3 above mentioned teams they would be the one to get into the new league should it prove to be a viable venue. They may just decide to sit back and watch and then join later. Hell if I know, I'm not them or their powers that be.
Americans are a Smart Parts funded, Smart Parts Field playing Smart Parts team. And they also stated last year that they were no longer playing in the NPPL. Thus the reason that we got to play SD in their spot (well one of many - Thanks Frank).
If this league has success it will create a situation we had in the early 2000's with the NPPL and the PSP. Remember when Chris Lasoya was on Miami Effect and then made that huge spash when they finally played a NPPL Event as Infamous? There was lots of talk then about which team was better, the top of the NPPL or the top of the PSP(NXL). That conversation usually ended with Dynasty because they simply won most of everything. But taking them out of the conversation I can remember many of those debates. Even after the Russians won an event on American soil there was much scuttle butt chatter that they couldn't do it 7 man. Of course only to hear all their fans going on about how they could destroy in it. Oh good times.

More then "biggest sponsors" they are the owners of the PSP. Dynasty is not a "factory" team as I understand it. That title goes more to the Americans.
I dont think its a "not allow" thing going on, more of "not going to" thing. The biggest reason is money. It makes perfect business sense and I dont fault them for it one bit. Why would you pay money to have your factory team play in a league that directly competes with one you own? This again is why I think Aftermath is not playing in this league either.
Taking money or business out of the equation for my next statement, I think it sucks. I wish all of that could be put aside and these teams were apart of the new league as well. Hopefully in time they will be.
Also as many of the seen near the end of last season many teams were starting to choose sides. Aftermath went with NPPL, Americans went PSP and their were others that made announcements on the PBN news forum. Since the closure of the NPPL it threw everything up in the world wind and now we are starting to see where the pieces are landing.
Give it another couple years and its going to probably be totally different again.
I mean Ollie Lang plays for the Ironmen for christ sakes. Imagine if I told you that 5 years ago....

I just noticed that there's no Hurricanes. That's no good. I new they went for the PSP when the NPPL shut the doors, but after last years success, it would have been nice to see what they could do. They worked their way up from the bottom and were really close...
