I was hoping the whole "Steve Carell leaving" was a joke to begin with, and that something was gonna happen in the end, and boom, Michael Scott is still the manager.

If you watch the old episodes compared to the new ones there is such a different flow. I liked the show better when they just ****ed around and there wasn't a real plot.

Plain and simple the show died when Michael left..

The Office isn't The Office without Michael Scott.

dawt. after season 5 they switched from funny unreal characters in everyday situations to realistic ******* characters in 'funny' situations and it just turned into ****.

Seinfield didn't have a plot for 9 seasons, and the producers wanted to do more.

Thats a good way to describe it. It used to have a unique feel, while now it feels like just another show. They got rid of a lot of the awkward human that can be found in everyday situations.

The show definitely took a turn in season 4-5, but I still enjoyed it and it still had a lot of pretty funny/"office" moments. The last 2 seasons have been more meh.

What made the first few seasons so good was that they didn't focus on a story-line so much. They just made episodes about various crap going on in the office with minimal story advancement.

Season 5 was just god awful.

Meh, I really enjoyed it up through last season.

I'll still watch to see if it gets better, but the first episode of this season really disappointed me.

I liked James Spader but idk about Andy in the role of boss. I love the character, but i fear he may lose his funny in the "manager" role.

Andy was funny in the show before the Hangover came out. Then it was like he became "famous" and needed a bigger part in the show so his screen time got tripled (bad for any character in the show) and he started singing stupid stuff all the time.

I miss anger management Andy.

I think the show should focus as much as they can on Dwight being on a quest for the manager position for the rest of the season.

they need to not have these long *** plots, this aint greys annatomy. a story arc that lasts a few episodes is fine, but this **** has realy bogged down the comedy the last 2 seasons.

He sings thoughout his run on the show. Think about what finally pushed him over the edge and got him to anger management in the office in S3.
