instead of being a forum clogger and posting a completely new thread about a similar topic, i'll just ask a specific question.....
First off, i already have a solid marker.... Its one of the many spider clones and it's been around since about 98'... But still kicking. I prefer woodsball and would like to get in to the scenario scene, but i always feel like i'm lacking a little something. I have no desire for the fast shooting guns, or the false "backspin" barrels..... What i really want is an almost authentic milsim marker (clip and all.... Tired of hoppers either needing batteries or getting clogged).
I did some research (browsed the web) and i think i found what i am looking for...... The T68 (rap4 sponsored or made.... Not for sure).... The question is, aside from being overpriced (i know i can get a tippman and make it look almost the same...... But would you tell someone wanting a porsche that he can just mod the hell out of a nissan for less?) what is your opinions on the gun?
Actual experience with the brand/gun is prefferable, but not a must. And again price or ammo storage isn't an issue.... Quality and relaibility is what concerns me.

try looking at tiberius if you are looking for clip feed. The clips are short on firepower, but you can get extensions that double the capacity for like 15 bucks at specops. The tiberius is a little pricey but it is infinately better built, more accurate, and more reliable than anything i've ever see from rap4.
The one you would be looking at is the t9 rifle

Thanks for the reply.
I was starting to get worried because last night I was looking through some reviews of the T68 (gen4) and there were multiple post about o-rings breaking within 20rounds and some other things that just SCREAMED low quality product. They look cool, but I don't want to be field repairing my gun every 2clips (36 rounds!!!!)..... just not something that interests me.
Off to check out the T9 and thank you for the recommendation!!!

tiberius is a great company. High quality and great CS. I love my tac 8. Now if the mags werent so expensive I need another 4 so I can carry 2 3mag pouches plus 1 in the gun.

the T9's look like a fantastic gun, very sleek too.... but just not what I'm looking for. It's good to know though that the T68's aren't all they claim to be, I would've been upset with myself had I dropped $500+ on a mid-low quality marker.....
But the basics of the 68's is what I'm looking for.... realistic look, milsim mag, mislim feel....... Granted, I guess they have the same maintenance requirements as an AR rifle.... so I guess I really can't complain about all that. LOL!!!!
Anyways, I'll keep my eyes open, until then I will just make-do with my spider clone.

i like this topic....ive got an ego8 (with custom hockey tape camo job), and a THK Deadbox SFT shocker in my bag and i love the ability to liberally apply heavy doses of machine gun firepower to oncoming crowds of enemies in the woods.....seeing as how i seem to often find myself pretty heavily outnumbered in the field its comforting to know my ego does 22-24 BPS whether im holdin a lane on the tourney field or facing down a charging mob deep in the woods..... and i love my shocker (w virtue..gotta have it) for its accuracy, low noise profile (well relatively) and speed (18-21ish bps w virtue) but thats just my opinion and it may not hold true for others.....

What does everyone think about the BT-4 Banshee?
I'm looking to purchase one as a scenario woods ball marker.

if your looking for a marker that has the M16/carr look, is mag fed or can be hopper if prefered then you want this;
this one is mine, plain jane, no mods except the tippman egrip mod(not pictured)
This one belongs to WindWalker on the milsim forum
that is the Milsig K series marker. the Rap4 T68 is a cheaper knockoff of the K as milsig industries manufactured the first Rap4 mag guns but have stepped away, improved, upgraded and desided to not sell through Rap again.
You can get one here;
http://www.tacticalreplicas.com/
and any question you have about the Milsig can be answered here;

Those are some great looking markers!!! Sadly They don't have the quality look of the RAP4 gen1-4 & 6.... they simply look like someone took a tippman 98 and put some serious work into it.
The right versions of the rap4's look look like someone tried to replicate an M4/M16 rifle in paintball version as closely as possible. I like that alot. And from what I've researched, the gen6's (newest model) have just about eliminated all the previous problems.
I won't truly know until I make a purchase myself, but I won't be doing that until the price tag on the gun is a non-issue anyways....

a teammate of mine uses the t68 and actually loves it. We are also looking into the Kseres for the tank we are building so either would be a good choice.

My friend bought one and it worked once, I think he broke the regulator and has not played with it ever since he got his Smart Parts SP1.

My rap4 feelings are mixed. They have things to address as a company.

maybe you should look into ATS markers. they are kinda spendy, and i have no experience with them, but some people recommended them to me a long time ago, and i think they may be about ideal for what you want.
