Hi,

Just wanted to pop in here and say hi to all the peopl looking for news and information on the new Eclipse Geo.

Over the next few days there will be a plethora of new and exciting information making its way onto the web.

We will have downloadable versions of the manual, e-brochures, mini-sites, picture galleries and a whole host of other information on both the Eclipe Geo on Ego9.

If you have any questions, then this is going to be a great place to get the answers. We hope most of the basic stuff will be answered in the on-line content and mini-site, but if there are any strange questions that you think we missed the answers to, please feel free to ask.

So for now, take a look at the specs posted above, and get to grips with what we are trying to achieve in turning the Premium Brand Spool Valve market on its head.

jack i have to give you some big props for the new line of guns there is one question though others and i have still curious about what is the MSRP

jack I am realy happy on what you all are doing this year! I am a huge spooly lover! And I liked all that eclipse has done and become but popets aren't my thing. So because of this gun you have made yourself a new loyal customer right here....

You will get to know me I'll be in these forums for a long time cause I love me my spoolies!!

Any time estimate on a video walk through and shooting of the Geo? I cant wait to see it in action and would love to see the quick strip bolt.

Is there a reason you guys went with the spool valve rather than an in-line poppet?
And are the frames the same, compatible with either gun, Ego9 or Geo?

probably just a play on the same letters that make "EGO".

Anyways this marker looks incredible! From reading that whole pdf file about it I would have thought that it'd be more efficient but 1500+ is not bad at all.

From what I heard from Jack was the 1500 was a conservative estimate. Under promise and over deliver. Smart man that Jack.

ya, and that 1500+ I'm sure is with the VVC at the largest volume. that built in adjustable "top hat mod" is quite the idea! This marker is extremely innovative, it looks like I might be looking to get one of these instead of a droid.

I think the in-line poppet is too complex and has too many limitations. The sppol valve internals can be set up in many different configurations. Once we came up with the concept of the ISCIS Valve it made perfect sense to follow this path. Very simple, very robust, very reliable, and the ability to be very efficient to boot.

The Geo frame is unique to the Geo. As you may or may not have noticed, there is no external rear frame screw. The grips are the same as the Ego7 and Ego8. The Ego9 has a new grip pattern.

Hey Jack,

Thank you for creating the Geo there goes the option for me to get another droid for mostly the reason i will stay with eclipse for the customer service. Although it may take some time to get used to the looks. Why did you keep the same grips on it then 08 and the same buttons as 07? Also do you think you can make a video of it shooting? Why are the new shaft barrel's just plain? there is no milling anymore just plain?

Geo, how loud is it when shooting compared to the Ego´s "SL8r,08 and SL74" and also if you where to compare it to lets say DM8" never tried the DM9"

I dont mind my SL8r´s sound, I kind of like it loud but would be nice to know how loud it is compared to one of the quieter guns out there" DM8"
