I normally wouldn't bother, but I'm a little drunk so here ya go:

Spool-valved markers that don't use a separate can:
Dye Matrix
G3/4/Threshy
Ion
Rail
Freestyle!!!
Droid/Clone

No doubt I'm forgetting something but you get the idea. And without accounting for about 10 other factors, operating pressure doesn't mean ****.

Considering the PBV guys are dumping dm12's on the forums Id guess that they are changing sponsorships, so why would they care?

Obviously you are dunk because I did state that pressure isn't. Also... None of those are the same... This has absolutely nothing up front. So it's pure air volume. So this thing should shoot better than a luxe being basically a luxe with an extra low pressure can.

I thought you said pressure doesn't matter?

Look, knowing what I know about shocker based bolt kits (it's an embarassingly large amount), unless they've significantly changed the way the bolt operates from either a Shocker, Luxe or Demon (blow forward luxe), the only thing you're going to get out of a larger volume and lower operating pressure is worse efficiency.

Beyond that, with a wall thickness of .05" (that guess is probably high) they're gaining less than .25 cubic inches over a stock '03 shocker. And with the can in the luxe 2.0 bolt kit being open on the sides, they're probably gaining less than .05 cubic inches over that. Nothing to write home about.

Beyond all that, I find the area behind the FRM to be ugly as sin. Why all the extra metal?

I have to say, I don't see what the $1400-1650 is buying you.

i personally like the look of the Vapor. granted i wouldnt buy one for $1600, but if the price was cut in half I could give it a whirl.

You know just a few short months to a year ago, Luxe staying around was in doubt lol. Yes they seem to be in good shape now, but for a while when SP cratered it looked bad.

Just sayin.

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
