Well I've been browsing through an interesting site, imagining how some of these places could be used for an absolutely amazing paintball scenario. Some attack and defend, capture the flag, etc. These places are amazing. I'm not sure of the laws of how to use an abandoned place for a commercial purpose, but I have seen scenarios before where an abandoned place was used. Try to imagine playing a big game at some of these places.

That's a pseudonym, the actual name of the place is the Rockland County Psychiatric Center. This place is insane. It's a group of large building, more like a town than an institution. I sent an E-mail to the township it's located in (Orangetown NY) asking if there's a chance they would allow some sort of game to take place there before the plans to demolish it are followed through. I think Viper Scenarios, RAP4, or someone else could put together something absolutely fantastic here.

I have continued to research abandoned places, and of particular interest to me are some awesome abandoned military installations. Anyone ever heard of Fort Carroll? Oh yeah, I think it would be perfect for like 50 people.

I sent an E-mail to the township that owns the Rockland Psychiatric Center a few days ago about a possible event, waiting a reply. I certainly want to make it happen at one of these places, I just lack the money. Therefore if I get something somewhat started I'll be contacting Viperscenarios or a similar company.
