I don't think they are changing the brackets to give teams more games. Maybe in the Race format for the upper divisions but all the other ones D2 and below are unaffected.
Not only that,but what about the teams playing traditional 7 man ? That's 8 games total and your are not gaurented anything so well raise the price of entry ?

this is why I love the NPPL. what other leagues listen to their "customers" as much, and actually make changes as their needed not after the fact. I cant wait to see the actual pricing so we can try and get a 2nd team to the events!

Wow, d3 5-man race-2 is $1400 more than to play d3 5-man race-2 in psp ($900)? How does that number come about to be an additional $1400? lol for the $2300 they are asking is almost equal to 3 psp events. I enjoy the NPPL and HB in particular and understand price increases are common every year but for something to be that big of a margin is questionable.
Another question is the entry fee is $_____ amount that includes the _____% to offset the cost of the chips and etc. If team "A" pays for event #1 and gets the chips and then also attend event #2 will team "A" be paying the same dollar amount for entry as in event #1? Doesn't seem logical as the price already includes the chip cost that team "A" already has and paid for in event #1 or do they receive even more chips. Would team "B" attending their first event being event #2 and will be needing the chips which in turn making them pay the full amount which is logical but not for team "A" which already has the chips. Might be ahead of myself but it seems to me that these chips cost should not be added to the entry fee but be a separate "fee" added once the team registers and stating how many chips they will need thus added to their total. Not only would this make check-in easier by allowing pre-ordering but it would allow the chip manufacturer in this case virtue have a better idea of how many chips they need as all the teams have submitted their chip requests beyond the 5 or 7 included.
OR the other idea is the rental service for the chips with putting down a deposit and once you are done with the event you can return the chip still in perfect working condition and receiving your deposit back.
