I can understand the I4 and clothing looking the same, but the hopper and marker need a damned make over. From past experiences, WGP sat on their ***** without making a marker for so long, by the time they decided to remodel their line, it was already too late.

With the rotor, dye needs to at the very least release their own version of a seed kit. I only use my rotor to compare speedfeeds at this point, and I still get jams when emptying the thing.

yea I guess dye believes that people will buy dm13s more this upcoming season than they would have bought dm12s. I applaud eclipse for holding off til they actually make changes. I wonder if sales of ego 11s have done worse than an ego 12 would have. As already said it's all about the money. Dumb people will actually sell their Dm12s and go buy a Dm13 even though there is hardly a difference.

You do realize all these companies are in biz for the money right? Some just do a better job at hiding that fact.

Of course that was the whole point of my post. Dye feels it can make more money by putting out this gun because more people would buy the same gun with a different title over the same gun with the same title. Eclipse seems to think that they can make money more efficiently by actually making significant changes before they put out a new marker with a new title. And I think that is the better method for customers and companies. The price of your used gun isn't guaranteed to drastically drop every year. I also find it amusing that people will pay more for dm13s at this point instead of saving hundreds by keeping their dm12s or buying one of the brand new dm12s still out there.

I think the DM13 is nicer than the 12, although it's identical functionally. Maybe people who didnt like the 12 will opt for the 13? If I were in the market for a new gun and had the $ for a DM I would get the 13, but probably only because I dont have a 12. People will spend their money however they want, but its up to the consumers how well a gun sells. I can't blame Dye for making something people will want and buy.
