OK so I am lost, the post on APPA list D5, D4 and open, on the SEPS page you have listed Novice and Open. Other places you have listed that D5 will be used as a true beginner and the Novice will be D3 players and under or less than 2 years playing. So under the new APPA listing I can bring all of Basic or Sinister Sainthood and play in Novice... but they all have more than two years of play, not all players have them listed on APPA though. So I guess that is where I am lost. Where should my son play as a member of GAS, APPA listing beginner, 1 year of play, by what your are listing he can play in D5 or D4, but at the same time Chris G can play with him on D4, so who will it be up to to say what level a player will play?

Can someone please clear this up, let the team owners know so that we can set up our teams with the right players. We only have one month to have this done guys.

I also want to make sure the WE all know Chris G and he should play Open but under the new rules if a Chris G shows up that no ones knows...

We are going by what the APPA has as your ranking. The only exception is we want to keep D5 for true beginners. If we know you shouldn't really be there, we will ask you to move up. There isn't series prizes for D5 and the probably only medals for the event prizes, so no need to play down. It's just for teams to get their feet wet.

Sorry for the confusion. I've been covered up with some work the past few months and haven't had a chance to get the website up to date. I will be working on that pretty soon.

I just don't want to see a team like Onslaught, Basic, or Sinister Sainthood play Novice/D4 and just roll through every team every month, like in the BG indoor, or 3 or 4 players from thoes teams playing with one or two beginner and roll. I would like to see the SEPS grow and stay strong.

we won't play anything less than open on the local level. if there is more than one of our players on the roster, they will be in open.

also, mark said on the previous page that if you are ranked d-4, d-5 on appa you can play ovice. we all have appa rankings of d-3 in 5-man.

don't worry about it. mark and brent will keep everyone where they are supposed to be. especially now with the help of the appa to keep everything classified.

Just to clairfy this.

Event: 9. November tba @ Ntense/BG Indoors

Is byop. My understanding is the price of the tourney will been increased and and it was a fpo event from previous experiences. Many people have wondered about this since in previous years it has not been a byop event, or so they have said. I wouldn't have a clue.

I don't care, I'm just posting to clarify for others this since all events are byop on the seps website.

No, it's not BYOP. Teams that play most of the series will get a discount on the entry fee.

edit: also since its your field, I'm just curious as to why all the other events are byop and yours is not. Have something to do with the season ender or something along those lines?

Yeah the paint will be normal price. It's looking like $55 prepay and $65 at event again.

The indoor is not at the field. We rent the WKU Ag Center, which is the reason for the FPO.

BG Indoor is FPO and minor season points scoring will apply. Example: You finish 3rd place overall in the Novice BG event but are the highest out of the SEPS teams, you will get 1st Place points for the SEPS series. Your team must have competed in one or more previous events for this to apply.
