"Breaking in" doesn't add as much as you might think.

Now, I agree - many scenario players carry a larger tank. But the "68/4500" efficiency test is the standard. That's why we used it.

Carry on, now, carry on.
I understand what your saying but a lot of people underbore. Check out lurkers barrels. The breaking in thing though does add extra pods though.

Watched the first video and really wanted it. Watched the efficiency video and now hate it again. Even if breaking in improved it by 10%, which I don't see happening, you're still under 1000 on a 68/45. IMO, that is completely unacceptable unless you play on shooting mostly FSR. And in that case you should stick with the T9 series.

hrmm. Efficiency not amazing.

Also it's DM/reflex based = requires lots of TLC compared to most

Also not happy with the DMag setup for regular paint - hope they release a real 20 round mag for round paint.

At least there's an air thru stock on the way or so I hear

- basically I'd like to see what PE could do with a magfed. Imo a poppet design makes more sense for a milsim marker.

This gun should be sweet but the maintenance might be quite annoying.

You consider 5min tops of maintenance as annoying? Sounds like a spoolie isn't your cup of coffee.

Considering what a superb marker the dam seems to be, saying 5minutes of maintenance instead of 1 on another type of milsimmarker is annoying is a really really bad reason not to buy it.

So let's say you play with a 77 or even a 90 your gonna get close to or over 1000 rounds which is a hopper, 5 pods and 6 twenty round clips. Not sure what most people expect to carry but this would be a lot in my opinion. If you had 6 twenty round clips with FS rounds you could play back for most of any game and then head up to the front once you've smoked most of the opposing teams front players. I don't think these numbers are that terrible, would we all like more?-sure but if you're truely looking at a woodsball marker that gives you the best of both worlds (FS/Regular Paint) I think this marker is a game changer.

I see where both sides are coming from. At a $1300 price point, you would expect better numbers. Coming from a Shocker previously, those numbers aren't too shabby.

For scenarios and big games, I keep a cooler with a case or two of paint podded up at the IP/Base. While I only carry 2-4 pods at a time, I can quickly reload and get back asap. At many scenarios, the air station is far enough away that refilling could mean missing an insertion. Being able to shoot through as much as possible before going to get air is important to me.

I get it and hey would I like to see G6R numbers for efficiency-yes!. If you have a box or two laying around at the base maybe you invest in a second tank. Personally I think the load out I described is a wack load of paint if you think about first strike capabilities then you can one shot a good number of players.

If you want those numbers, get a g6r.

If you want the coolest looking tactical gun, I'd have to give my vote to the DAM.

I picked one up and it's badass for sure

I'll agree, coolest "looking" tactical gun on the market. It has many great features and I did mean it when I said I was going to get one if the efficiency numbers came out reasonable.

I never said I needed 2000+, which I do have two that do (but not BL). I actually favor my gun that gets about 1500. At 850-900 you would be straining to shoot 4 pods, a hopper, and 30 FSRs. I also have run into just enough air issues at fields that I know a full 4500 fill is not always going to happen.

The main barrier to practical Mag fed paintball is not just the projectile, it's velocity as well.

First strike just isn't enough to make me want to play Mag fed Outlaw ball, Using it to branch out into that experimental "sniping" aspect is kind of interesting though.

I loved the end of the video.. Rofl..

I do agree though that for $1300 the gun should get at least 1000 off a 68/45. Fill stations are always too far away and there's always a line cause some dude is filling like a quad 88/45 setup or some ****.. And you almost never get a true 45 fill at big games..
