Also, I seem to remember you getting into huge arguments with a lot of people here......guess you have a short memory, either that or your laughable arrogance makes you forgetful. Shame I can't get tips from a pro who spends his days trolling a pbnation subforum.

Just put him on your ignore list. His criticism wouldn't really help you anyways. He flip flops and contradicts himself constantly.

2) if you're going to try to pull apart my crit, do it as a whole, i said "moombah is 110, that just sounded awkward). now, if you don't like that i think a 115bpm song sounds awkward, thats up to you. but you posted in this thread, obviously knowing very well i post in here and how i post, yet are surprised when we dont go "so sick bro". not just that, but you have such a huge need for attention, that you assume people are talking about you when they are CLEARLY talking about someone else.
3) i don't give opinions, i give facts. giving my opinion would go "yeah i dont like it, sounds like ______", instead i told you EXACTLY what i thought was wrong with your song, and not only that, but i didnt say anything negative about it or your song, yet you INSTANTLY try to attack me personally and my songs?
4) that example of me "talking down" to you isn't talking down, its called putting you in your place. you're ego or whatever is causing you to keep putting all focus on you WHEN ITS NOT. no one in here even knows who you are, yet everyone knows me by my first name? again, i didnt compare myself to you or anything, just told you what was up. regardless of my place in this industry, it doesn't take a genius in the music industry to say what i say. just actual knowledge of how **** works.
5) lastly, your song has what? 150 plays in 25+ groups + you posted it here + im sure you posted on facebook multiple times. and if you REALLY want to compare, i have 3 songs with over 300+ views with ZERO spam/promotion, my dillon francis bootleg is at almost 500 views and almost maxed for downloads and i havent done anything with that but post it on my facebook (which has 100 friends, and only like 2-3 that actually listen to what i do)
and congrats you own a ****ty no name label, ANYONE can do that. i can literally start my own label by the end of today and put out better music then you.
|
1) This is me, indulging your opinion at 108 bpm: Munchi - Sandungueo and at 115 bpm: Afrojack - Replica (Crowd Control Remix)
2) Uhhhhh what? My 'need for attention' is nonexistent in this thread - I asked for feedback. you said that was awkward. I'm not surprised you don't think it's 'so good bro', I'm surprised that one of the 'contributing members' is such an arrogant prick. When you start a paragraph with "Boardr" it is blatantly directed towards me.
3) just because you put 'it sounds awkward' not 'i think it sounds awkward' doesn't make your egotistical response. I responded in that way because you're the douchebag of the thread (a thread about music nonetheless lol - wow)
4) another incorrect response, what you said was blatantly you attempting to talk down to me. There's no focus on me lol, its on you, for being arrogance and insecure. YOU need to learn your place. YOU didn't tell me what was up you told me your negative, brief and unhelpful OPINION (something you you've clearly stated is your honest opinion, which you're claiming makes something a fact...lol) And your right, it doesn't, it takes someone who's insecure about there own stuff, and arrogant enough to say what you say.
5) I'm not doing the number thing again, if you think not using online marketing isn't smart - you're wrong, in fact stupid. but do your own thing.
My record labels first release is in May, so for you to judge it is once again arrogant. ANYONE can be ANYTHING, glad i'm one of the 8,000 ;]. I encourage you to attempt to try and start a label and release something by this time tomorrow (Wtf?). Maybe the process will give you some insight on dealing with others.
edit: now your posting .gifs as an attempted victory lap, thats really awesome dude.

Why is there so much elitism? I would imagine people would share their "passion" for music instead of being dickheads and arrogant pricks, it's not that hard to play nice. ****.

I'll refrain from doing that when there are multiple people, but this kid is literally the only one who seems to be the catalyst for these ridiculously stupid arguments.
Ask for advice on mix, receive response accusing me of talking **** to people. Uhh huh lol.

Lol guys just put him on your ignore list.
Seriously this thread becomes 10x better and you can get back to music
On that note I ended up ordering a Numark mixtrack pro. I've been messing with FL for a couple years and decided it's time to start mixing. $190 isn't bad for a decent, entry level controller?

get over yourself.
and cane, why are you even in here? just instigating? since you don't contribute at all, nor have shown any signs of you djing/producing.

You really think what you says deserves some sort of response from me?
I mean, really. Re-read this.

If this is how you're reading the situation, I feel bad for you. I hope you get help from someone. I tend to doubt you have very many friends, but good luck.

lol I see the quote, I would report if he wasn't ignored.
Cook you are obviously butt hurt or something. Why so hostile?
"we don't want to listen to your sync'd mix on your sick *** numark mixdeck is ****ing lulzy."
Your weak insult and assumption that I would use the sync function on the controller is unnecessary.. And I realize the mixdeck is entry level... as I want to get into djing.. That's why I am here. This is the DJ/ Music Production thread. Seriously what is wrong with you?,

canemaster - He's mad that people don't need to spend over a grand on turntables and CDJs anymore to be able to do just as good a job mixing as he does. Typical snobby "traditionalist." You'll see many others like him in other forums....
Of course, the fact that my mix is sync'd means the mix automatically phrased/timed, EQ'd everything, made transitions absolutely perfect by itself. Right, cook?
